White Hill Nature Camp

Nestled in a peaceful country setting, no noises just nature. Only 7kms off the Arthur Highway. A perfect base to visit Marion bay, Bream Creek, Eaglehawk Neck, Dunalley and the Port Arthur historic site. Nearby popular southern beaches, Sorell township and historic Richmond vine country.Our property is located on a no through road, neighbouring Woodvine Nature Reserve. We live on-site and we're delighted to offer 3 sites & hopefully more in the near future. Our sites suit self-contained campers. Dogs welcome.We have plenty of tracks suitable for bushwalkers & mountain bike riders.The Paddock: Approximately 6 acre paddock, mostly flat and a couple of trees for shade.The Fire Pit: Located near our house, fire pit with seats. Tree swings for the kids. Not suitable for very long caravans.

Ryelands Farm & Vineyard

**Please note that it's $20 per person per night. 

Small farm and vineyard at Macquarie Plains in the Upper Derwent Valley, southern Tasmania. The property is 380m from the junction of the Lyell Highway and the Gordon River Road. It has 450m absolute river frontage on the River Derwent (no riparian reserve). The river here is freshwater, potable and a renowned trout water, (licence required). Three kilometres from the village of Gretna.

4WD Preferred. 2WD need to assess river access.
Campers need all own amenities and leave no trace. Dog friendly but please see rules, we have livestock and so dogs need to be well controlled at all times. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place (see rules around campfires). 

Due to hydro generation activity, the river may slowly rise or fall up to 1m (often without rain) so please be careful around the water.

Shires of Myrtle Forest

Shires of Myrtle Forest is a heavy horse stud located at Myrtle Forest on the back of Mount Wellington, just outside Hobart. We are a highland mountain property in the cool temperature rainforest just 15 minutes from the outskirts of Hobart We have a beautiful year round creek, resident heavy horses and great walking tracks. We are located a few hundred metres from the Myrtle Forest walk and waterfall.  We have unpowered sites located on the forest fringe, each with a firepit. We have firewood available so you can sit and enjoy the cool mountain evenings around the roaring fire. We have lovely rainforest to explore where wildlife abounds... wallabies, potoroos, wombats, bandicoots and Eastern quoll. Visitors must be self-contained. Dogs not permitted.In summer we have balmy days with views of Mount Wellington and in winter we often have snow to play in.Our resident horses love attention and a few carrots :) we breed shire horse and Freyja our resident drum horse loves a pat. Facilitated Daily walks available by appt.

Bomana - Bushland Delight with Breathtaking Views

Bomana is a 36 acre property in Carlton River, on the way to the Tasman Peninsular. It boasts stunning views of Fredrick Henry Bay, kunanyi and neighbouring rural landscapes. The owners live on site (top corner of the block). We are offering two opportunities to camp/van/caravan on this delightfully private land. When you book, you can be assured that the property is yours alone, making it a quiet and private experience. The unpowered site gives you the opportunity to enjoy the land. The powered site additionally gives you access to a bungalow which has a couch, TV, bed and dining table, as well as a very basic kitchenette with a toaster and kettle. There is also a power lead if you just want to run power to your own set-up. Campfires are a must - nothing better than watching the sun set around the campfire.

This is a leave no trace property that suits campers who bring everything they need (including a camping toilet) and remove everything they bring. Good access for 2WD vehicles and caravans.

 Lots of opportunities to capture photos of sensational sunrises and sunsets.

The property is 3km from Primrose Sands Beach (great for safe swimming). It is 4.5km from Carlton Beach (great for surfing), 37km from Port Arthur and 13km from Sorell. Hobart is 45km.

We have goats on the property so pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis, please ask before booking with pets.

Craigbourne Estate

Beautiful 8 acre property situated on the edge of the Craigbourne Dam, 2 minutes from the township of Colebrook and 50 minutes from the Hobart CBD. Our property offers are great getaway experience for any traveller. 

The Craigbourne Dam is a all year round recreational fishing ground and stocks many species of fish i.e. Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout to name a few. 

Our property is a pet friendly park but we do ask all patrons to be considerate of the surrounding farmland and live stock .

 As we are a fully self contained campground we do not provide power, toilets or showers. You'll need to have your own amenities and discard of any rubbish . 

Limit phone coverage but still enough to call/text 

Contained campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood for sale for a small fee (see Extras).

IMPORTANT : Any guest that wish to fish the Craigbourne Dam will be asked to purchase a angling license for the duration of their stay .
