Daintree Wilderness Camp

Located in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest where you will see plenty of wildlife and birds and enjoy an endless number of adventures you will find our wilderness campsites.

Enjoy all this beautiful region has to offer including rainforest walks, beautiful beaches, stunning waterfalls, crocodile spotting, fishing, snorkeling on the Great Barrier reef and plenty of 4WD tracks to explore.

We are within easy reach of Daintree Discovery Centre and the Daintree River Cruises. There is so much to see and do in the area that you will never be bored.

Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided, there is plenty of firewood too. We have a pit toilet available for campers to use.

Pets are welcome.

Yindilli Camping and Guided Walks

Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls. The track is not suitable for towing caravans.

The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing.

Facilities include: toilets, showers, dry firewood (on request), spacious sites 

Children and pet friendly.

Guests are advised to only light fires in designated areas and these must be fully extinguished before departure.

Leichhardt Creek Organic Farm

 . We are not open till late May due to having to repair and fix tracks, creek crossing , fencing etc on our property due to Cyclone Jasper and the monsoon. We have a 300 acre organic property which is mainly open forest with a mile of creek frontage. Smaller caravans, tents, camper vans and rooftop tents can camp in the forest next to the creek. This is a working farm and we don't check emails every day so please book ahead. You will have to confirm what time as we have a locked gate.

Stoney Creek = the historic weir site waterfall

Mossman “Tati farm” stay.

Camping on a private cattle farm 7km north of Mossman at Miallo, between Daintree and Port Douglas.

The property is located at the end of a road with no through traffic, its a quiet spot amongst exotic fruit trees and large lawns. A birdwatchers paradise! Plenty of flat grass areas to setup camp. A crystal clear creek runs through the property and there are stunning mountain views with waterfalls. Enjoy a campfire or sit back and enjoy the native wildlife and cattle grazing in the paddock. Firewood is available to purchase on request.

There is a toilet and a shower on-site (only one shower though for all campers so get in quick), campers must be self contained and leave no trace.

We are 10 min north of the famous Mossman gorge and Port Douglas is just 25 minutes South East, "where the rainforest meets the reef". There is a variety of
restaurants and bars, not to mention fantastic boutique shopping. 

Just a short drive away you can explore the World Heritage-Listed Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation with an abundance of tours and day trips available. All sites accommodate 1 (one) vehicle and 1 (one) RV, motor home, caravan, campervan, camper trailer or tent per site.

Mowbray Spring Creek Camp

Located just 15 minutes from Port Douglas and 30 minutes from Palm Cove our property is the perfect base to explore all the beauty this region has to offer.

We have close access to some beautiful nearby creeks and walking trails. With Four Mile beach, Spring Creek Falls, Mowbray Falls all at your door step there is endless adventures to be had.

The property is right near the Mowbray National Park and the Bump Track which is a popular and memorable mountain-biking experience for those who love to ride. This 6km trail climbs from sea level to almost 400m within just a couple of kilometres, allowing riders to experience one of the biggest downhill thrills in the region.

You might also like to explore further and do a day trip up to the Daintree. Your friendly host is always happy to share local knowledge so you can get the best out of your trip.

Campers will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept under your control at all times.
