Gday, and thanks for stopping by Gundy Pub!Located at the Gundy Pub you will find a number of campsite, cabin and room options available. The cabins have ensuite facilities and we have 3 rooms available in the pub which all have a queen bed and a single bed. All rooms have a TV and air conditioning. Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. Firewood available at an additional cost or BYO.We look forward to seeing you.

Nomads Rest Caravan & Accommodation

Nomads Rest, a 6 acre property where you can camp with a creek on one side and a large dam on the other, no matter where you set up in the beautifully maintained grounds, you have water either side of you. Lots of shady areas as well as the sunny spots for the solar panels.

Situated east of Gympie, just off the road to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach and 4 km's to Gympie CBD. An ideal spot if you need a safe secure stop off when heading north or over to Rainbow Beach or Fraser Island. Great spot for that long weekend getaway. Hotel, fuel and a convenience store just up the road.

Pets are welcome but strictly be on leash at all times. No exceptions. You need to be self-contained (toilet, power supply and water) as there are no amenities. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, $15 for 15kg, pay onsite.

Nomads Rest has 5 acres of open camp grounds for self-contained caravans, Motor Homes and Camper Trailers. Off grid/self contained camping only, no amenities offered.  

Your time here will be relaxing with no interruption. Bird watchers paradise. 

Great central point to visit Gympie region, Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach, Fraser Island. Gympie CBD is just 4km's away.

Just a beautiful spot, surrounded on 3 sides by the creek, so very cool, the sounfs of running water just beautiful.

Tanah Suci (Sacred Ground)

PeACeFuL and pRiVatE, enjoy your own creekside camp.  Located under Mt. Pinbarren and beside Pinbarren Creek my beautiful 5 acre property is mostly lawns and gardens. With the creek on two sides, not overlooked, with pond and causeway across the front you are in your own little oasis.  Suitable for any self sustaining set up from a swag to a large camper.

We are right by the Noosa Trail Network, close to the gorgeous Lake Cootharaba for water activities, quad bike tours, horse riding, biking, hiking, maybe climb the famous Mt. Cooroora. 

My beautiful property is surrounded by water with a swimming hole. We have volleyball, cricket, football, golf, totem tennis, many outdoor games and activities. For your evening fun we have many games, cards, bingo, checkers, monopoly, scrabble, boggle, etc., or enjoy campfire marshmellows by the creek.

You will rejuvenate as you meditate beside the creek and take in the sacred energy of Mt. Pinbarren.  Quiet and private.  Dog friendly. A safe place for your fur babies to run and play while you sit back, watch and relax.  Kids can explore the creek or enjoy the many outside games on the lawns.  Campfires permitted (except in Total Fire Ban) and firewood is available on request.

Hillier Retreat, Noosa Hinterland, Sunshine Coast

Hillier retreat is an exclusive sanctuary of over 72 hectares, 3 adjoining properties of the Hillier family. Purchased as a home in 1978 with the intent of reforestation and healing of the land it was part of the first nature corridor in Australia to be planted in the late 80's early 90's. It is now establishing as a space for retreats; for healing and wellness, & a space of sanctuary & nurturing for the land & the people that visit.

We offer a space that is quiet and minimal bookings ton ensure the place is never crowded or over booked. 

- Campsites have 2 composting toilets, a camp kitchen available for use, warm showers, tank water

- No pets, sorry

- Firewood available for purchase (see extras)

- We are situated 35 minutes from Noosa beach adjoining the Noosa trails.

Wolvi Grove Avocado Farm Camping

Welcome to Wolvi Grove - a family run avocado farm approximately 8kms off the Tin Can Bay Road, less than half an hour from Gympie.

This camping patch of paradise is private and very quiet; while at the campground you are not able to see the road nor our residence. We are very respectful of your space but also keen to chat about all things avocado for those who are interested.

*All campers must have their own portable toilet* Please do not request a booking unless you have your own toilet and are fully-self sufficient.

You may get to encounter pretty-faced wallabies, rainbow honey-bee eaters, lace monitors and echidnas during your stay. The array of birdlife is equally matched by the magnificent number of stars to view on clear nights. 

Base price is for the first adult and extra adults and children are priced accordingly. Please ensure booking includes all guests.

The main 'Mango Tree Camp' is a large, grassed campground covers an area approx 50x50m suitable for up to 5 vehicles/RVs/caravans or tent campers at any one time. There is also a picnic table and book box and large fire ring.

During the cooler months 'Orchard Camp' is available for bookings. 

There is plenty of extra kindling available for guests to collect during their walking travels in the forest.

Dogs are welcome but you must pick up after them and tick protection is recommended. Our Kelpie 'CC' might even drop by for a friendly visit and pat.

Past visitors have gone on day trips to feed the dolphins at Tin Can Bay, gone surfing at the world famous Double Island Point near Rainbow Beach and explored the upper reaches of Noosa River Everglades and Harry's Hut.

There is an 'open mic' event at the local Wolvi Hall on the first Friday of each month; family friendly with great food. Fraser Grill and Black Ant Cafe at Kin Kin are also fantastic places to eat out while in the area.

Fun Mountain

Hosted by the caretakers Jake and Claire,
Fun Mountain is a 54-acre property with three dams in Glenview, Sunshine Coast - 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Caloundra.

It is surrounded by State Forest and offers some great bushwalks. We have some flat areas, perfect for camping, and then plenty of terraced or hilly areas to explore, with some spectacular views out over the Sunshine Coast.

Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Dog friendly. There is tank water but we'd advise you to bring your own.

Access is via a gravel road. Due to recent weather events, an SUV or 4WD vehicle is required to access the property. Ok for caravans (flat area on entry to property) but you'd need a 4WD for the hill site turn around area.

Please do not follow the GPS to get to old Caloundra Rd, come off Steve Irwin Way to access the property.
