The property is most suited to 4WD, high clearance vehicles, and off-road campers. Caravans and motorhomes will find it difficult to reach most areas to camp. Children under 12 stay free! Please still add children to the booking (you will not be charged) so we can keep on top of guest numbers. You're welcome to bring your furry four-legged friends along to camp too, but please ensure they do not hassle the livestock. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or we can give you a full refund. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. As a starting point for this new venture at Findon Creek we offer 3 sites which are all suitable for larger groups; all situated on grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites, though the flats themselves are not boggy. Explore the great outdoors by wandering along our extensive bush tracks and trying your hand at fishing in our farm dam stocked with silver perch. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Situated in the Caldera under the shadow of Mount Warning is a small secluded acreage within the bend of a large creek. It is comprised of an open creek flat with views of the mountain and horses grazing that is surrounded by some remnant and some regenerated subtropical rainforest along the creek frontage. There are a couple of small private swimming holes and walking tracks along the creek where you can stop and sit for some quiet contemplation, watch the native birdlife, do some forest bathing, or maybe even spot some local platypus or other native wildlife. We offer 4 separate powered sites, that you are welcome to choose from on arrival based on availability. NOTE: two private power sites are available upon request on arrival , if conditions are favourable . You will need to have two power leads to hook to power though. We have room for large caravans, motorhomes and buses. Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites. Weather permitting (no rain) we also have two unpowered sites available in another paddock, closer to the creek. There is no power or water at these sites, and you will need to be self-contained. We also have a gazebo/camp kitchen available to all guests where you can relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere of the property. Running water, power, and BBQ are supplied here. All campers must be self-contained at this time, with their own camp toilet. We have Telstra mobile reception here only.

We are 10 mins from Mullumbimby - and 25 mins from Byron Bay, 20 mins from the beach - this is the best of all locations We live off the grid growing our own food and generating our own energy supply. And are conscious of leaving a small foot print by recycling our waste, composting our gardens and using energy and water with respect. We would like to know about you before accepting anyone to stay here as we are a drug and alcohol free property and appreciate people who value living clearly and consciously. There is a sacred space for yoga or meditation where you can hear the creek and feel the fine connection with tranquility. Our place is bordering Wilsons Creek with fresh water and excellent for swimming or canoeing. We also have an beautiful swimming pool. There is an outdoor kitchen for you to use, shower and toilet - would suit someone with their own caravan, tent or camper trailer. We are happy to have like minded people come and stay either short or long term (discount can apply) We appreciate our place being very private nestled in the rain forest, the gardens are immaculate and we love eating our freshly grown vegetables. Happy to share them if you would like to give back by spending time in the garden helping out - otherwise there are many great local markets where you can buy fresh produce. The Byron Shire is very popular with tourists all over the world - there is a lot to do in and around the shire. We are high in the hills over looking the shire - it is one of the best areas in Australia to be in - and gets heavily booked in holiday season

Expect views, views and more stunning views! Bunya Bunya House is set on 5 acres of land and we own the highest block in the Village of Uki. Power and water are provided along with use of 1 of the bathrooms in our home. We conquered the Big Lap a few years back. Towed our 14 ft Golsdream Explorer. 405 days & 35,000 kms around our amazing country. We have 2 highly prized Fur Babies at Bunya Bunya House (See Pic). Our Puglet, Gertrude, is mainly indoors but Rastus loves being outdoors. Both are extremely friendly & love children. Rastus will almost certainly visit during your stay. We ask that you be dog friendly guests as this property is their home. Bunya Bunya House is also a popular, traditional Bed and Breakfast. If you wish to totally spoil yourself then we are also happy to negotiate an upgrade to stay in our home. (depending on availability) Please touch base with us if you have any questions prior to booking.. N.B. Captivating views have a price. Anticipate steep road to reach our property and a steep driveway. Not in any way suitable for big rigs.
