We were lucky enough to have the site entirely to ourselves which was amazing! We had a fantastic stay, you could hear traffic from the road, but it didn't bother us at all. Being greeted every morning by Wallabies will always be pretty special! Thanks for a fabulous stay guys!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Spirit of the Forest, thanks to Trevor's exceptional hospitality! From the moment we arrived, Trevor made us feel so welcome and at home. He has a natural way with people, especially kids – our little ones were absolutely thrilled with his friendly and cheerful demeanor. It’s clear he genuinely enjoys making sure everyone, big and small, has a great time.
What stood out most was how respectful Trevor was of everyone’s privacy while still being attentive to our needs. He consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, without being intrusive. It’s rare to find someone who strikes that perfect balance, and Trevor does it effortlessly.

Great to be back and be able to stay on such a beautiful property. You'll be surrounded by nature, wallabies, all types of birds, a gorgeous treescape that circles the property and not to mention an incredible view of the stars at night. Thank you for having us again.

We loved camping here, it was the perfect stop on our trip between Brisbane and Canberra. Quite a rocky road to get to the property, but we were fine in our 2wd that was much heavier than usual. Trevor was a lovely host and met us in person to show us the property, he was very helpful! Bring firewood if you're keen for a fire, as there are fire pits scattered all around the camping area.

Met Trevor on arrival and we were the first to arrive and was asked if we wanted to be next to the dam.Yes please.
Great outlook, lovely area to camp. Kangaroos in the evening and morning. Toilets on site, recycling as well as garbage collection area. Firepits if you wanted to use one. Not too far off the highway and easy to get out if heading north. Pet friendly as long as they stay on lead.
Would definately stay there again.

Lovely spot, beautiful views of the wildlife. We camped near a billabong with lots of birds and frogs to watch and not too far of a walk from the toilets. Plenty to do on the farm and in the area. Trevor was a great host, will definitely be coming back!

Views are beautiful, it was a great location to base ourselves to explore the wider area like Bluey’s Beach in one direction and Bennett’s Beach in the other. Trevor was very hospitable, great knowledge of horses and the kids loved meeting all of his pets. We even added a new furbaby to the family whilst staying as there was a litter of Whippet puppies ❤️ we will definitely be back! The night sky was absolutely breathtaking and the wallabies each night in the paddock were a treat!

First time on Hipcamp and we had an incredible experience. Trevor was extremely friendly and had us set up in our own little space on his massive property. He even offered to put on a Horse Show in the morning (although the rain canceled this). Can’t recommend this place enough. Keen to come back.
