Camp Selah H.’s Land, Virginia
Hipcampers can expect a bare shelter with a hammock available. The shelter itself is easy to access. It is surrounded by woods and small fields. Free ranging goats, donkeys and a pig are nearby. Alpacas can be available but are always fenced in. Within walking distance is a ADA accessible bathhouse with COLD showers. On the property there is a walking trail that was used by President George Washington in 1791. There is an all natural playground area for children, volleyball court, tether ball, gaga pit, etc. available. Site is accessible to VIR Speedway, Averett University, Hargrave Military Academy and Chatham Hall. Within a 15 minute drive there are quaint little shops. Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill are an hour away.
