Welcome to the Victorian High Country! The High Country region has award winning craft breweries, a rich history to explore and offers a beautiful spot for bush horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, exploring or just relaxing around a camp fire 🔥. Ideal location to bring your horse to explore Mt Buffalo national park. Horses to be kept in yards provided for $10 per horse per night. If you are one group please don’t book separate camp sites. Camps sites can have upto 20 adul on them. Teenagers 13 and over to pay $25 per night This campsite offers toilet amenities (no shower), a dedicated firepits. All pets need to be previously organised by message. If you are after total peace and quite please don’t book Christmas ,Easter or long weekends . Off peek during the week is very quite. Located approximately 3 hours from Melbourne, this property is within a short range of the snowfields andthe bike trails around Bright and Beechworth. Experience the local wineries, the Milawa cheese factory and Lake Buffalo. Explore the breath-taking scenery while walking, cycling or paddling through. We are just an hour from Mt Hotham and Mt Buffalo for ski season.Welcome to the Victorian High Country! We had and awesome experience and the views where insane but the price we payed to camp was a bit expensive $300 bucks and the for the amount of wood we got for 50 bucks could be improved to an acceptable amount of wood

Awesome weekend

I camped at High Country Paradise in April for 2 nights. There was only me and a couple of campers on another site. Such a lovely property, I really enjoyed my stay. The sites are awesomely large, set out really well and I was a good distance away from other campers. The walk to the toilet was no bother at all. I felt very safe, this was a great option to camp solo, I thoroughly recommend and would definitely enjoy staying there again.

Great big fire pit with cooking trays that swing out over fire. Beautiful scenery in autumn. Saw a wombat and many wombat holes. Loretta met us at the gate but treated us like an annoyance rather than a paying guest.

Had a wonderful 7 nights stay at High Country Paradise. The sites were extremely spacious and spread out to give everyone their privacy. Loretta met us at the gate and took us to our site. All sites and facilities looked very well maintained. One of the best sites we stayed at. Thank you.
