Huntress Haven Farm is located in the scenic valley of the first branch of the white river. One of the main attractions to the farm is the dairy goat herd. Because of the livestock we can not allow dogs. In addition, we have farm dogs on the property. While the dogs are very friendly, they are also protective of the livestock. Guests have lots of access to the animals and are welcome to participate in milking and chores. There are many foraging opportunities year roundPull the RV up to the big barn area for an easy turn around. This beautiful grass opening is next to the river and includes a fire pit, buckets of water to put the fire out, camp toilet and trash cans. While we do not provide sewer hook ups at this site, you are welcome to fill your fresh water tank or connect to our water hydrants. You will be greeted by our friendly welcome crew of Nubian goats. While staying, you are welcome to help with chores and feed the goats the approved snacks we provide. There are thirty acres to hike and explore, but not clearly established trails. We connect to the VAST snowmobile trail system. Please bring out door shoes as this is a working farm and manure happens!

We had an excellent stay! The hosts were kind and very accommodating. We loved playing with and bottle feeding the baby goats.

A little pocket of joy

My friend and I had the best time tenting at Miken and Dave’s! Not only is the property great but Miken and Dave are the best hosts! They were very welcoming and kind and we loved getting to chat with them. The goats were so rad and definitely brought big smiles to our face. We are already planning a trip back!
