Our beautiful setting overlooks the West Fork of the Stones River. With walk-in access to the water, the camp is perfect for exploring a thriving river system (2, 6, and 8 mile floats are easy since take-out points are just up the road a piece or just paddle up and down the river, depending on the rains). The river is wadable most of the year. Smallmouth and seasonal trout make for easy fishing. The river is home to an abundance of birds, turtles, and fur-bearing friends. Most second Saturdays of the month in the afternoon/early evening we have a music jam. It will be on our side of the property. You're welcome to join us and enjoy the music. The canvas tent is equipped with a bed, linens and pillows, lamps, charging station, cooking and eating utensils. The bathroom is a composting toilet with bags that will you in the trash bin. For larger groups we have level grounds where you can set up your own tents. We do have one popup tent and one inflatable mattress for rent if you need them. Two rock beaches on our property are across from a river island! Beyond that is a small creek and 190 acres of vacant land. Please note that if there is rain before or during your stay the river level will rise and you may not be able to kayak safely. Depending on the amount of rain this could not impact the river levels or it may be high for a day or two. In case you run out of Lunchables, we have several methods for camp cooking with fire or our dual-fuel Coleman stove. Keep your refreshments fresh all weekend with our big Coleman cooler. If you don't feel like cooking, Downtown Nashville (40 minutes) and Murfreesboro (15 minutes) are close for campers needing an escape from nature. Last minute supplies are just minutes away. We provide board games, outdoor games, kayaks for rent, tubes for rent, fishing gear for rent and other seasonal amenities! Because the location is very convenient, it also comes with passing cars and the hum of I-840 in the distance mingling harmoniously with the babbling brook. The groundhogs and kingfishers don't seem to mind it too much. Most second Saturdays of the month in the afternoon/early evening we have a music jam. It will be on our side of the property. You're welcome to join us and enjoy the music. Please let us know if you need an earlier check in or later check out. We will always try to accommodate if we can.

Stones River Getaway
Awesome place to camp
Our group of 12 had an amazing time! The host was super helpful the entire trip. The pictures and description are accurate. Pros- Bed, pillows, and linens in the tent were clean and comfortable. Solar powered string lights there made an awesome after-dark camp ambience. Little details were nice, like tissues, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, drinking water, dishes, utensils, and snacks were available in the tent. During our stay, it was 30 degrees one night. The wood stove inside the tent kept us so warm (we brought indoor fire logs) that we had to open the tent windows! It also rained a full day and night while we were there and not a drop of water leaked inside the tent. Level land for pitching multiple tents and trees for hammock campers. Firewood on site was a nice treat! The outhouse with a compostable toilet was super clean and fresh smelling of cedar wood. Extra waste bags and cedar chips were available. Cooking area attached to the picnic table was nice with a cabinet underneath for storage. The river/creek is shallow for little ones to play in all day. We kayaked every day. Little mini rapids make it super exciting. Cons- Had to heat water for the shower, (nice little shower pump available), and there is a road about 30-40 yards away, but it clearly states that in the description. The road is up past a steep bank so not worries about the kids getting in the road though. We had an amazing time. All the kids want to go back! You need to camp here!
