Lazy Acres Lake, Tennessee
on 4 responses
The lake is positioned at the headwaters of Lick Creek and adjacent to the south entrance of Pin Oak lake on Natchez Trace State Park. The property was originally owned by a respected resident of the Chesterfield community who raised his family living off the land. A flag pole island, which now extends into the lake, was created using the homestead power pole in their honor. From a working farm with livestock, crops and plenty of work to be done, to a healthy mix of water, trees, peace and quiet. We think we have the perfect recipe for being lazy.
Backcountry camping and hiking is our first love. We find the simple set up to be the very best way to do the great outdoors and adore those with that same chi. The east side parking area provides access to a footbridge across the creek and leads to the camper's trailhead. AT style

The east side parking area provides access to a footbridge across the creek and leads to the camper's trailhead. AT style trail blazes and postings direct campers to each private campsite. One handicap accessible and one multi tent site for parties of up to 12 campers are available as well.
The RV sites, boat ramp and main parking area are located at the central entrance. Look for the "LAL" brand on the left side gate post to confirm you are at the right place and use the code provided with confirmation (see welcome message) to open the lock box located below the security camera. Dry camping only for now. Septic, water, power, docks and canoes coming soon 🙂.
Our goal is to provide a peaceful retreat in the woods near the Trace without the busyness that comes with staying in the Trace. We want to offer our guests the option of a peaceful day on the water fishing, swimming or canoeing and the convenience of being minutes away from all the Park has to offer. The lake will soon be stocked with bluegill brim and Florida strain largemouth bass for those that love to fish.
* Campsite parking area gate is open 24 hours whenever campers are present.
