Camp at our farm retreat with us and our Scottish Highland Coos. You will have plenty of room to yourself, there is potable water available and porta loos. We have shower facilities now too We are 5 minutes out of Childers Queensland. They might be a little shy but they wander around freely and will love to be hand fed sweet potatoes by you and brushed by Chrissy. Everyone will enjoy seeing these cuties. You'll meet Kelvin the Scottish Highland Bull, Oakley who is new mum to Lucy Moo born 5th of February and Willow, mum to Ferdinand (Ferdi) born earlier this year on the 3rd of January, so two beautiful calves to watch doing zoomies around the yard, swimming in the dam or chilling under a tree 😁 Also some chooks, ducks and Guinea fowl and our 2 dogs Jesse a blue heeler and Cane our Maremma who is the night guard for our animals so does bark a little at night if there is a fox or something around, he and Jesse are super friendly. Relax with a cuppa, unwind with a book or go for a short bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature here at our farm. There are wonderful cafes and bakeries in Childers, an IGA and Woolworths. We are near Bingera National park, Cordalba state forest with an hour to some top snorkelling spots, also Drive passed acres of sugarcane and macadamia fields we are 45 minutes from Hervey Bay and 40 minutes the other way to Bundaburg. We love being so close to the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. We look forward to meeting you Duane and Chrissy

The most peaceful little hideaway

Chrissy and Duane are such lovely people with a beautiful and peaceful little hideaway ☺️ so accommodating with our last minute trip and late arrival. Not only welcomed by these beautiful people but also their four legged friends who we adored 🤍We were shown to our camp spot and there was even a camp fire ready and waiting. In the morning Kane the maremma came for a wonder to check on us and we even got to go meet the highlands, their babies and give them some brekkie 🥰 We definitely look forward to coming back!!

Camping at Chrissy and Duane’s

Absolutely loved staying at Chrissy and Duane’s! The owners are so lovely and nothing was a drama, even accomodating our late arrival. Duane had a fire already lit for us in our camp ground that was absolutely perfect! The cows are just beautiful, hand feeding them with the owners the next morning was a Fantastic experience. Highly recommended!!!!
