Nestled in the heart of southeast North Carolina and conveniently located an hour from Wilmington, Jacksonville and Fayetteville — our 40+ acre family land is situated directly on historic Black River. Well known for its beautiful trees, wildlife and fisheries, Black River is also home to the oldest bald cypress forest in the world, many being alive hundreds of years before Jesus walked the earth. We are the only riverfront camping experience on Black River so we aim to provide you the best views, the most exceptional hospitality (from hosts Lisa and Eric), with hopes that you leave completely happy with our little piece of heaven and wanting to return year after year!

Saw a bear!!!!!!
Was an excellent camp ground. Every site is co-located right in n the black river. My children and even wife had an incredible time. Well worth the effort.

This was one of the most beautiful camping sites, I've ever been to! So neat and clean! Our family had a great time! The owner is awesome & very kind! Highly recommend!

Site 11 - Black River Camping Ventures
This campground is beautiful. The host was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. The kayak launch is super easy to access and so many cool coves and swampy areas to explore along the river. Bring bug spray...the mosquitoes were insane - but to be expected, as the sites are right on the river.

Absolutely the most wonderful spot! Beautiful, clean, and very peaceful! Site spacing is great! Cannot find anything to complain about. Lisa was a wonderful host and made sure we were taken care of. Thanks so much Lisa! You have set the bar very high!

Very beautiful spot on the black River , she was very accommodating and made it feel like home . Very impressed . Fellow campers were also very polite and respectful. Definitely would love to come back !
