Fyi for future campers. ADK Mountain View will be undergoing changes to its current campsites. Per order of the Adirondack Park Agency. All sites will be moved as they have been deemed to close to jurisdictional wetlands. Please bear with us as we go through these changes. With that being said, any site you book at this time will not be in the same place at the time of your stay. Thank you. This was a very old dairy farm owned by the Duntley Family. Old farming equipment dispersed throughout the property. An old foundation from a sugaring house. Beautiful old rock walls. Deer and wildlife galore. Pitch your tent or bring your camper to our 150-acre working farm oasis. Beautiful views of the Adirondack Mountains. Easy drive to great hiking spots. Easy access in Essex for the ferry to Vermont. Lake Placid, high peaks 30 minutes. Or just relax at your campsite with a fire. There is a water spigot to the left of the big brown metal building with easy access with the driveway in front of the building. Each site has its own outhouse, picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, fire ring with a cooking grate. Snow mobile access during winter months. Happy Camping!

Site 3 - ADK Mountain View Campground

We loved our stay on Sarah’s land! The site was private, with fantastic views of the meadow and mountains with the early morning sun. Will definitely want to come back when in the area again!

Beautiful, relaxing spring stay

Gorgeous view for the eclipse. We beat the crowds and had a very pleasant, low key stay at this campsite. Picnic table + fire ring were very appreciated. Plus for a glamper like me, the little outhouse was adorable!

Beautiful sunrise

Very nice set up especially with the outhouse, it had a solar light that came on when you walked in also the Adirondack chairs were so comfortable. Would definitely stay again

GOLDMINE

Sarah's place is great! I drive an AWD SUV and had no trouble accessing Site 1. Generous amount of wood provided if you purchase a bundle! Beautiful views. Low hum of interstate traffic, but, definitely not enough to keep you up at night. Ideal location to Lake Placid and the high peaks! Will definitely stay again.

10/13/23 Site 3. We enjoyed the privacy of the site, with a fire under the stars while lounging in the provided chairs. Mountain views in the morning. Good communication with Sarah. We would stay again.
