Our property is situated on a working apple and cherry orchard at the base of Mount Canobolas, 10 minute drive from Orange. The region has much to offer including amazing wineries and cellar doors, quaint villages with artisans shops, hot air balloon rides, waterfalls, the Arch Cave and more. Here at The Orchard visitors are welcome to pick their own fruit in season, at a cost. Please speak to your host if you are interested. There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Lake Canobolas is close by for swimming and there are a number of walking/ hiking trails in the beautiful Mount Canobolas National Park. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property to please keep them under control. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. Amenities are available for campers. A shower and toilets are also available to campers.

Site 1 - The Orchard

We had a great stay at The Orchard, it was lovely and quiet with plenty of space to stay. Appreciated the power and facilities. Tracey was great to deal with, lots of information. Highly recommend staying

Night time lights in the sky

Camping on Tracey property was perfect it was peaceful and great location to Orange and you can walk to wineries. The apples are delicious and the sunsets are fantastic however the highlight is the night sky’s to see the stars shining so brightly and a very clear Milky Way. Tracey has some amazing plans for her property and we will definitely returning to see how she is tracking thanks for a wonderful time 🤗

Short trip from SA

This was such a nice location. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. Orange is such a beautiful town but the orchard is out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that we could still pop in and out of the town as needed. Close to many beautiful spots and Tracey was lovely! Will visit orange again for a longer trip next time

Tracey's camp is a big paddock in the middle of vineyard country about 15/20 minutes out of Orange. It's a lovely quiet rural setting and we were there with another 3 people but there was still loads of space. Tracey was friendly and very responsive on email as we booked very late ( all parks fully booked out ) and we felt we had a much better experience anyway. Be aware the paddock has a bit of a slope and you will need some very long leads though Tracey does have some on hand. Near the house there are two showers, two toilets and water though they were a distance from site 7. In all a really enjoyable stay.

The Orchard was a perfect base to explore the area. Tracey and family were very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay despite two days of heavy/torrential rain!
