Our cute little A-frame sleeps 2 people comfortably. It comes with its own outdoor kitchen, grill and outdoor bathroom, with a hot shower and composting toilet. You will also enjoy your own private waterfront space with free kayak use, hammocks and firepit with complimentary fire wood. We are located about halfway between Bangor and Ellsworth. The Mini is a perfect spot for day trips to the coast. Just a 15 minute ride to Bangor where you will find many local breweries, restaurants, concert venue, theaters, shopping and night life. Our area has abundant small wildlife. We regularly see rabbits, geese, ducks, beaver, eagles, osprey and of course loons. Kayak over to our private island where there are blueberries, and a mating pair of eagles. Paddle over, have lunch, pick some blueberries for your morning cereal, go for a swim. You could also kayak through the thoroughfare to Holbrook Pond. The site is small, just 1 acre and we do live very close by. You will have privacy, but you may hear or see us or our dogs at points during your stay. We will provide a few jugs of water, but you may want to bring some of your own. Cookware, plates, cups, utensils, and cooler are available for use.The Mini is a tiny A-frame, it has a full size bed with clean sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an outside kitchen area with gas grill, a Coleman stove and a cooler. Cookware, plates, cups, utensils and a coffee press are also provided. There is a picnic table and a fire ring with complimentary firewood. Two kayaks are available for your use along with life jackets. Our home is next door within site. We do have two small dogs that may bark at you with excitement, but they are very friendly. We find it very quiet, peaceful and serene here on the pond

AMAZING! This Hipcamp has so many thoughtful touches. A little over an hour from Bar Harbor/Acadia NP. Even with temps in the 30s at night I was plenty warm. Will definitely stay again!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame very much. It was the perfect, quiet, peaceful get away from our busy lives, and the site was so beautiful and well thought out for convenience and comfort. Gorgeous trees, twinkle lights, a great firepit, lakeside views, essentials provided for cooking and relaxing outside, (and so much more!) made this an incredibly idyllic rural stay for a really great value. 🏕️🥾🌲 The host, Cyndy, was extremely accommodating and kind. We highly recommend this stay and would love to come back next time we have time for a Maine excursion!!

Absolutely beautiful place!
Great outdoor shower and kitchen. Having a fire by the lake was amazing. It was super cozy in the mini. You should definitely stay here anytime you have a chance!

Think mid October is too chilly to stay at the Mini?! Think again! We had a fabulous time on this beautiful piece of land. Such a treat to wake up to a stunning view. Cyndy was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Directions and communication were clear. Can’t recommend this enough!

Cyndy’s lakeside gettaway was absolutely amazing. It felt like solitude to be right on the lake, with amazing views and kayaks to journey wherever we wanted. It rained during our stay but I’m glad to say it didn’t impact us in the slightest. And Cyndy was very accommodating to us to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. They kept water for us, had a fire pit all ready to go, and even gave us some games to play. They were very accommodating and there retreat was everything my gf and I were hoping for. It was also only a 15 min drive from Bangor which was a beautiful city with plenty to offer. Highly recommend her place!!!

Our favorite glamping spots to date! Highlights were kayaking to the nearby island on the lake, reading & relaxing in the hammock, and enjoying the warm outdoor shower! Amy & Cyndy were attentive and wonderful. Excited to go back next year!
