Whispering Redwood Creek

My fiance and I really enjoyed this campsite. It was surrounded by beautiful scenery and the short hiking trail topped it off . We had no issues finding the place since chris sent us directions that were well explained. The bathroom was a little smelly, but that is to be expected when having an outhouse so we didn’t mind. Campfires are not allowed, but we didn’t need one due to the weather being nice and us eating before we came. Overall, it was a great stay and we would come back again :)

Good site, so-so driveway

We stayed two nights here after driving a long ways to see the redwoods. It was a very nice site and very secluded! The road was pretty steep and tough to manage in a kia, but we made it. Never spoke to the host.

Beautiful & peaceful getaway!

Highly recommend! Just as described on the post and other reviews, it was a very beautiful and peaceful spot beneath the redwoods. We enjoyed the little hiking trail down to the creek. About 35 mins from the entrance of Redwood National & State parks, it was perfect for our stay for a short trip to the redwoods. Chris’ great communication made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The directions to the campsite were helpful, as our gps did try to trick us at the end! Would advise getting there during daylight as it would probably be a bit tricky to find in the dark.

What a lovely spot! We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the creek and we appreciated the propane fire at night. We highly recommend this spot. It is exactly as advertised.
