Heavily wooded 27 acres with a year-round babbling creek that cascades in waterfalls (one is a 25-foot drop!) across the property. During the rainy season the various waterfalls show off in dramatic fashion! Add to the magical sounds and marvelous setting a small Christmas tree grove, a smattering of goats and chickens, and two playful livestock guardian dogs who will become your best friends. Relax under the night stars, hike/bike the Sierra Nevada trails, or pop into a nearby winery with friends. OHV or horseback riding is also available along with river rafting during the summer months. You are limited only by your imagination!Pitch your own tent, or rent our canvas teepee tent and enjoy the night sky from this enviable location in the Sierra Nevada mountains. We have trails that take you to secluded waterfalls or top of the world boulders for expansive views. Enjoy your favorite games, music, exercise routine, books, art and each other! Get lost in your laughter, nature, fellowship, picnics, drawing, basking or meditating. 🙏 You can even get married here at the Waterfall Shire! Hundreds of miles of horse/hiking trails beg you to explore the mountains. And the Rubicon Trail invites adventure with off-roading! Picnic alongside the many rivers and lakes, hike or bike in the forests, or investigate the antique shops and local artisan wares hidden in our mountain towns. Revisit history where the gold rush started and try your hand at gold panning in nearby Coloma. And there's almost always a place where you can tap your toe to local music and savor the wine or local brew of the Divide - an off the path hidden nugget that will keep you coming back for more! This platform is reached by a ten-minute hike up a groomed trail that rises 200 feet. Our UTV will get you and your belongings to and from the platform at the beginning and end of your stay. Park at the trailhead in the designated area. An unbeatable restroom and unpotable running water are available at the platform. Pitch your own tent, or rent our teepee tent shown in the photos. It is the size of a king mattress: 84" X 84". You can also rent a battery pack for charging your devices. Don't miss the FAB BR - undeniably the best bathroom you've ever used while camping! The posted nightly rate is for one tent and four guests. The platform is approximately 12' X 14'. Up to four additional guests may join you at $10 per guest per night. Additional tents can be pitched on the ground beside the platform for group camping. A large, cantilevered umbrella provides nice shade on the platform and we have a cool grotto beside some falls where you can hang out in the heat of the day. 😎 You will have complete privacy in this location as neither neighbors nor anyone at our home has a line of sight to this platform. No type of fire is allowed except propane camping stoves and no smoking is allowed anywhere on our property.
