Kamp Snoozy is a place to relax and have a good time. Our property sits on top of a hill on 10 acres of beautiful panoramic views of Cahuilla and, Palomar mountain along with rolling hills of large rock formation and colorful wildflowers in the spring. Nestled up to the wildlife preserve of the government bureau of land management which provides more of a quiet and private setting to enjoy what nature has to offer. There are many trails to walk, hike, bike & ride horses and discover boulders and hidden caves. A variety of rocks and minerals can be found for those rock hound enthusiasts as well. At the camp site you will find a horseshoe pit , treasure hunts and other outdoor games for the whole family. Pets and horses are welcome. We provide Two horse corrals with feed buckets and access to water. There are off road areas nearby. Bring your motor bike, quad or buggy and throw up some dirt. Not to far there is a Casino, small store and a restaurant and about 30 minutes away from the Temecula wineries. You don’t have to worry about packing up a bunch of camping equipment, our camp provides a 35 foot solar powered RV which is big enough for 6 people to enjoy in comfort. It has a refrigerator, microwave, dishes and utensils and a toilet. (You will need to bring your own blankets, sleeping bags and towels). Also provided are 3 easy set up tents, air mattresses, propane b.b.q, propane fire ring, outdoor couch, table and camp chairs. There is enough room on this property to bring your own camper, RV or tent or ? but it must be self contained. There is no electric, water or waste hook up. Kamp Snoozy is the place to be. The camp sits on top of a hill on 10 acres of beautiful panoramic views of Cahuilla, Idyllwild and Palomar mountains, along with rolling hills with undisturbed wildlife preserve. You will see sage, cactus, wild plants and in the spring, wild flowers of many colors. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The night sky is covered with hundreds of stars to gaze at and shooting stars to see on a clear night. It is nestled up next to the wildlife preserve owned by the government (Bureau of Land Management) with hundreds of acres which provides more of a quiet and private setting to enjoy what nature has to offer. The Local wildlife species include jack rabbits, desert cottontail bunnies, quail, hawks, roadrunners, lizards, bull frogs, coyotes and occasionally deer, snakes, bobcats and small critters. There are many trails to walk, hike and horseback ride and discover large boulders and hidden caves. A variety of rocks and minerals can be found for those rock hound enthusiasts. You don’t have to worry about packing up a bunch of camping equipment, our camp provides a 35 foot solar powered RV which is big enough for 4-6 people to enjoy in comfort. It has dishes and utensils, a toilet and shower. Also provided are 3 easy set up tents, air mattresses, plenty of camp chairs and a comfy outdoor couch with table, propane b.b.q and propane fire ring. (No open fires).You will need to bring your own personal items such as blankets, sleeping bags and towels and toiletries. We have a large size flat which is large enough to accommodate any size camper, trailer or RV. if you want to bring your own. ( must be fully contained. There are no hook ups.) The access to this site is on a maintained road with high clearance with a slight incline that may be intimidating to some so If you plan to bring your own RV or haul a horse trailer, please contact me prior to booking to discuss whether the access to the campsite will work for you I am sure it will, I have hauled my 35 foot over 6,000 lb RV up there without any problems.There are on site activities such as a horseshoe pit (horse shoes provided), treasure hunts and other outdoor games for the whole family. Pets and horses are welcome and we ask that you keep them near you at all times.We have provided a 2 horse corral with feed buckets and access to water. Host does live on the property away from the camp and we do a meet and greet upon arrival to give you the key and if you need anything we are easy to get a hold of.
