* 40 acre Ranch: a family-owned & a family friendly place. Hosts live on property with horses & a dog. We value the serenity of nature, so we prefer to invite guests who do NOT play loud music or use noisy motorized vehicles on our property.
* Your well-socialized dogs are welcome. But please be aware that this is a wilderness area with wild animals, so plan to secure your pet at night.
* Most campers with RV enjoy the easy pull-through feature of having 2 drive through gates, the field with shade trees on front of property. And most tent campers & folks with smaller 4wd enjoy the campsites with boulders & views on the upper elevations of the property.
* This is good place to park / leave your rig while you hike the nearby PCT or California Riding & Hiking Trail.
* There is a taco shop within a few miles - open on weekends.
* There is a convenience store within a few miles - open 7 days a week.
* There are several boutique wineries within short drive range.This is beautiful, private ranch property is intended to be sanctuary experience for true nature-lovers. We value the serenity of nature, and are wonderful hosts for folks who appreciate nature. We enjoy sharing our peaceful land with friends and Hipcamp guests who feel the same.
This place is NOT well-suited for guests who wish camp with loud music, loud pets or loud vehicles.
Located in the foothills wilderness north of Julian and east of Temecula Wine Country. A remote, dark sky location - perfect for sunsets and star gazing. Peaceful and private. Fabulous boulders and rock formations. Shady oak trees. Well water. Fresh eggs available ($6.00 per dozen from a neighbor).
Hiking: Several wonderful hiking trails nearby, including the California Riding & Hiking Trail, and the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail).
* Best option for larger campers: Park in one of our easy to access, flat terrain camping spots in the big field...
* Best option for hikers or campers with rustic style or smaller footprint: Hike or 4wd to hilltop locations for view spots and tent-type campsites.
