I bought this property in January, 2020. At that time, it was raw wilderness, with no roads leading to it and nothing having ever been built on it. I first made roads with a tractor, then built a shed and a lodge. I'm currently extending the hiking paths and linking them up with some other existing trails. It's been a labor of love and a true joy for me to work on. I wanted to use it as my weekend getaway spot, but then a friend told me about Hipcamp and thought that I should open it up for guests.
I can tell you that my mood changes as soon as I arrive out there. There are no roads in sight, or car noises. The sounds are mostly of nature: coyotes, birds, etc. There is no light pollution, so the view of the night sky is unadulterated.
