Find us on IG @starryhollow Tucked between two hillsides, our space feels like you're in the middle of the forest, even though we're only 5 minutes from the heart of Heber! The serene interior of our yurt offers an open floor plan, inviting a seamless flow of energy, providing a spacious and calming ambiance. Natural light pours through the skylight, illuminating the thoughtful touches and decor gathered from all corners of the globe to create a harmonious atmosphere. Inside, you'll find a comfortable sleeping area with a cozy queen bed adorned with soft organic linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The living space is designed for connection, where you can gather with loved ones or fellow adventurers to share meals and create lasting memories. Relax in the seating area, curled up with a good book or musical instrument or engaging in heartfelt conversations by the gentle glow of candlelight. While the yurt's interior offers a sanctuary of comfort, it's important to note that the composting toilet and shower are located outside. These facilities are designed with eco-consciousness in mind and use limited water resources. Embrace the opportunity to connect with nature even more deeply as you venture outdoors to utilize these facilities. The limited water encourages mindfulness and conservation, reminding us of the importance of sustainability and our connection to the Earth. The yurt is completely off-grid and draws power directly from the sun. Lights are battery and solar powered, there are no outlets available, however, solar USB ports are available for phone charging. Verizon and T-Mobile have a few bars, and we intentionally do not have WiFi available at the yurt. I cannot recommend this enough. Absolutely private and perfect escape into the woods. Hosts were super helpful and suggested a great hike just a few minutes from the site. My best friend was in town for his birthday and this was the perfect celebration!

The Yurt at Starry Hollow

Savannah was so welcoming and helpful! The property was gorgeous. A nice walk up to the yurt and you feel like you’re in the middle of nature! The pictures were spot on and even better in person. We had the most relaxing couple of days. We got to experience an amazing rainstorm with thunder and lightning. It was amazing. Was so lovely to just walk and hike around the yurt. We will be back and have already referred it to everyone!

The Yurt at Starry Hollow

Savannah saved our weekend!

We had a unique experience to say the least. We arrived during the coronavirus lockdown and didn't know the campsite was closed. We paid and had an itinerary but an error occured and we never got the cancellation email. Both Emily at Hipcamp and Savannah worked with us and she let us camp for the weekend. Hipcamp refunded our money and gave us a credit. We are so grateful to both Savannah and Emily for being so cool at such a difficult time. As for the site, we obviously had limited services since it had been closed for a bit when we arrived. There was a lovely overlook that gave an amazing view of the sunset and the stars. The main area was well kept and organized and the whole area was piney and full of natural surprises. Astronomers and Biology geeks will be in heaven here so bring your telescope and your Audubon society field guide. An all around good experience.
