Handmade modern rustic off grid glamping cabin. Sits down in the valley overlooking a small creek. Located between America's First National River, the Buffalo River and the most unique town in the Ozarks, Eureka Springs, AR. Just 6 miles to the Kings River. Surrounded by hiking, mountain biking, floating, fishing and hunting. Built with an emphasis on using locally milled rough sawn timber, reclaimed materials and handmade details throughout.
This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). The cabin is powered by a small solar panel setup. Please do not plug in any personal devices. They could damage the electrical system or overwork it. USB charging dock for phones, laptops, etc. Good cell service with most providers. Basic LED lighting. Direct vent propane heater. Full size memory foam mattress with plenty of warm blankets. I absolutely loved staying in the container tiny home. I loved that each campsite was pretty private! Mizzy was the absolute best host. I sure hated to leave and cannot wait to come back. The container was decorated so cute!! You can definitely tell this was a labor of love.

This cabin and location are perfection. The amount of well-honed craft that went into building the cabin and its outbuildings like the shower and outhouse are stunning, but so, too, the thought that went into making a comfortable space for guests. The mini-fridge and the large amount of water in the kitchen were so welcome. The meandering trails made my dogs so happy as we walked them several times a day. Even the light fixtures are worth gazing upon. I left here rested and restored.

Wonderful peaceful secluded getaway. This cozy cabin was just what was needed. The kitchen had the necessary items for stove top meals. The bed and linens where comfortable for a good nights sleep. A well kept outhouse. And a nice porch to sit in nature or if rain or cold a big window so you can sit inside and not feel too removed from the outdoors.

Weekend Trip to Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp
It was an enchanted experience, for sure. We stayed in the Container Home and it was absolutely perfect. It was nestled away from the other sites with its very own view of the magical tree line. Mizzy is the host with the most. Her presence and energy matched the peaceful vibes of the environment and she made sure we had everything we could need. Her land was absolutely beautiful, with just a short walk to the creek. The road to the campsite was a bit rugged, but small vehicles seemed to make their way to this hideaway as well as 4x4s. Definitely will visit again.

Weekend Trip to lightning Bug Hideaway
We loved the tiny off-grid house on this gorgeous property. It had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend getaway including a cozy bed, kitchen basics, and outdoor fire pit with chairs. We also enjoyed exploring the land and creek close by. Rob showed us around upon arriving. He was friendly and made us feel quite welcome.

Weekend Trip to Homestead At Rocky Acres
Perfect little cabin for a weekend in the woods! It’s close enough to town to drive in for shopping, etc but feels super private and secluded once you’re there. The cabin was clean, cool, and comfy and we loved the fire pit! Thanks for a great stay!

3 nights at Galloway Greenhouse
The Galloway Greenhouse (Miss Emma's place), in Springfield, MO is ideal for a single person who needs to overnight in this town. The cottage is very clean, neat and functional. The place is quick and easy to get to, just off the highway. There are many restaurant options close by.
There is minimal kitchen accommodation, just a hot plate. The coffee service is a Keurig. no big deal. Since this is a hipcamp place, we are prepared. I had my little gas bottle stove and french press. I was set. There is a small fridge, great sink and excellent shower.
The bed is fine. It is a single daybed with a soft mattress and soft foam topper. The bedding, pillows and sheets were all clean and proper. Two people cannot sleep on this single daybed. There is a pull-out single mattress under the bed for another to sleep on the floor next to this bed. The bed was very soft, but comfortable. The window and door could be opened for nice airflow.
Outside the cottage, Miss Emma allows a fire pit. She has fire starters and all the firewood you could need to have a great campfire. I can imagine she would allow tents in her backyard for extra guests, supported by the cottage. but ask. That would certainly cost a bit more.
There was great privacy. Your car is parked on-street, in a cozy neighborhood. I felt very safe back there.
Miss Emma was a great host and easy to work with. I will be back and rent this place again when I travel to Springfield.
