Pitch your tent or park your RV beside Holiday Hill Day Camp's "Camp Meeting" outdoor Amphitheater area. During the summer, this wooded area on the edge of our play field houses our daily after-lunch gathering where we sing songs, play goofy trivia games and laugh together. But outside our 10-week summer program we are able to offer the firepit and cleared area as a quiet spot to spend the night outdoors.

Guests are welcome to use our outdoor athletic facilities and playgrounds. Daily swimming pool memberships are available in-season. Just across the street, Mansfield Hollow State Park offers a variety of hiking, biking, running, paddling and picnicking opportunities within a short walk or a few minutes drive. Also only 5 minutes up the road is the UConn main campus, with arts, entertainment, dining, exploration and the renowned UConn Dairy Bar ice-cream stop.

Since we are a functioning 23-acre summer day camp and event facility, you might expect to share the property with an outdoor gathering, wedding, or group lodging in our Farmhouse rental on the property. If that's the case we'll contact you at the time of your booking and let you know what to expect. We're also in the process of developing 2 other Hipcamp spots on the property, all located to provide a wide buffer of privacy.

Camping at holiday hill was awesome

We love the camping at Holiday Hill. The site is awesome with lots to do at the campground and nearby. My husband and I hiked, biked, kayaked and played Pickle Ball. We had campfires most nights and enjoyed seeing the stars. UCONN is just 3 miles down the road and we ordered out one night including dessert from the Dairy Bar! Our only regret was that we didn't bring a couple of our grandkids because there are several playgrounds on the property. We are planning for our next visit. They also have an Airbnb on the grounds in a lovely farmhouse (spotless).
