Nothing like this place in Colorado with direct private access to the backcountry with thousands of miles of trails. Yes, this place has direct access to the West Eagle Mountain Bikes trails that are becoming very famous here in Eagle, Colorado. On the website eagleoutside.com, my property is the no access marker off of Highway 6. Mountain bike, hike, dirtbike, atv, side by side, snowmobile or four wheel with no trailering up. You could ride or hike in the backcountry access trails all day without getting to a paved road.
There are two camp spots available on this 6 acre property for RV camping. Tents are also allowed with your booking for an extra $18 per small tent (more for large tents) and tents are available for rent. Electric hookups are available for an extra flat fee of $10/per night. Please check my other Hipcamp Listing "Vail Valley Backcountry Access Tents" for more details on camping with tents.
Huge shade trees (trees fully bloom the end of May-beginning of June in Eagle County), are all around the property and a pond with waterfall and firepit seating area is available. Friendly, well behaved pets are allowed with a $12/night per pet fee including horses that can be kept in the 2.5acre pasture with alfalfa grass and flowing water off of Brush Creek or in the corral.
Vail, Beaver Creek, Glenwood Hot Springs, Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, Aspen, Rancho Del Rio, Radium Hot Springs, and State Bridge are all near by. This place is ideal for anyone attending the Bonfire Block Party that coincides with the Eagle Outside Festival June 1-3, 2018 and the world famous Go Pro Mountain Games June 7-10, 2018. The Eagle County Fairgrounds are right down the road and have the Monster Trucks in Eagle, CO event June 16, 2018, The Roaring Fork Kennel Club Dog Show July 7 & 8, 2018 and the Eagle Country Fair and Rodeo is July 25-28, 2018. Costco is one mile away, Bowling Alley and Movies theaters are very near as are numerous restaurants and the amazing Bonfire Brewery Taproom. The Eagle River Whitewater Park has features in the river done and more to come.
This place is a gem and is really great for people who like to get directly in the backcountry.

This is a great space with a very kind and helpful host. We were late on arrival and Gerry made everything so much easier for us that it could have been. She is a wonderful host.
We would love to return again to make the most of the hiking and rivers around her place.
