This place is MAGICAL! Our stay was an incredible experience full of cozy hangs and incredible views. Plenty of small amenities to feel at home, yet simple enough to feel unplugged. The propane stove and spring near by made it easy to make meals. The hosts sent very clear instructions which made it a stress free arrival and departure. 10/10 recommend booking the hut the next time you need to get outta dodge and recharge. You won’t regret it!! Beyond the cozy hut there are plenty of places to wander and explore. Never bored but never chaotic.

During summer months plan for late afternoon storms with a swarm of mosquitoes to follow. Still didn’t put a damper on our good time. So grateful the host is willing to share this slice of paradise with us!! BOOK IT noooowwwwww!!!

This was a great location! The hut was very isolated and the views were beautiful. It was warm and cozy with the wood stove. We even saw moose on the road up to the cabin!

Fisher Mountain Hut was well worth the hike in! Perfect getaway to disconnect and enjoy a beautiful piece of the state. Being wintertime didn’t create a lot of obstacles for us. The cabin was easily warmed up each night with the stove and was provided with just enough amenities to make you feel at home. Charley as a host was super quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Definitely will book this hut again.

This place was great! Beautiful view, cozy cabin, and plenty of room for a group of 5 or 6. Well maintained, and had everything we needed. We probably overpacked. Charley is a great host as well and will answer any questions you have. The hut is located pretty high up at over 11k feet, so if you aren't used to high altitudes prepare in advance to avoid any altitude sickness. The road in is well maintained, and is an easy drive in good weather. There is one rough part towards the top, but if your vehicle has decent clearance you will be fine. We took a 2WD Kia Sorento to the top since the Tesla didn't have enough charge to make it in. We hiked the fisher mountain on the other side of the mountain and reached the peak! Definitely worth it, beautiful views.
