Original 1924 Settler's Cabin
This spot was the perfect blend of simple creature comforts, the traditional camping experience, and Colorado history. The cabin itself is an adorable piece of history, while also providing those little things that make camping so much easier: shelter from the weather, a basic kitchenette setup, and a comfy bed off the ground. Outside the cabin was well furnished with a picnic table and benches, comfortable chairs, and a fire pit. The level ground is also perfect for setting up a tent if part of your group decides to stay outside. We enjoyed cooking over the fire, but loved that we had the option to cook a wider variety of foods because of the kitchenette. And for those of us that don't enjoy doing our business in nature, the outhouse is a welcome addition to the camping experience!
