Oasis in the Aspens
We just missed the leaves...bummer!
What a nice little spot to set up camp! We enjoyed our stay at the Aspen Grove and would recommend to future campers. It's a cozy little camping pad in a grove of aspen trees. The leaves had just dropped before our stay and I was super bummed about it. But the area was still very pretty and felt welcoming with other changing leaves to admire.
It's easy to find. The public road going to the property is a little rocky, but not bad. It's a well maintained mountain community road. When you get to the property itself, this is when you might need to have a 4x4 vehicle. The drop into to campsite is a little steep and the new road gets washed out on the side from weather. (The host has done a very good job explaining this in the description, so just make sure to read everything.) There is a rake onsite to help upkeep the road. I've included photos of the area where it could get tricky if you don't have four wheel drive.
It was a very pleasant stay, and like I said, I would recommend to others. Thank you!
