Yosemite Garden Camp Tent Site 2
a must-stay!
incredible views, gorgeous sunrise and sunset.
the trees are suitable for hammocks, there are Adirondack chairs, tree stumps, generally plenty of seating and surfaces.
there are great facilities — toilet, sinks, spigot, running water, etc.
the communal fire pit is well-maintained with plenty of wood and kindling to get started, we recommend bringing wood if staying multiple nights.
it is a safe property, feels remote but still in close proximity to other houses, a few businesses including gas station, Groveland.
it is a super convenient drive to Yosemite National Park.
the last mile of road is VERY rough — a high clearance vehicle is necessary and all-wheel drive is highly recommended even without snow, but the site is well worth the effort
huge thanks to Geoff for his amazing property and a wonderful stay!

Gorgeous place! Needs better signs
Can’t beat this spectacular view! Loved camping at this property and would love to come again. Site 3 was hard to locate at sun down (no signs) and we didn’t know we would need to carry our things up and down a big hill, but everything was wonderful once we were set up. Definitely make sure you have a high clearance vehicle for getting to this property!

Camping at Geoff’s land was amazing! The views from campsite 2 were jaw dropping throughout the day. There is no hot water for the showers so be prepared. The only drawback would be the entrance to the land. The dirt road has huge ruts so I would highly recommend something that’s AWD and has a decent amount of ground clearance.

Secret garden
My stay on Geoff's property was probably one of the most magical experiences I've ever had camping. My party was at Site 2, probably the best site at the camp, which overlooks the vineyard and has amazing views of the hills in the distance. Sunset was spectacular. No one else was camping during our overnight on the property so we had the whole place to ourselves, and we had a great time strolling around the vineyard and relaxing in the hammock. The toilet and shower were clean and functional, and any amenity you can think of is provided, including a sink to clean dishes after cooking. The dirt road to the property is a bit rough, but anyone with a 4WD should find it easy enough to navigate. I have little to no experience off-roading and handled the drive well, but definitely read the directions provided since Google Maps can trick you if you're not careful where you turn off of Highway 120. Thanks Geoff for opening up your amazing property to campers like myself!

Lovely spot
Lovely spot to camp and watch the sunset. Access to Yosemite was super convenient and although it recommends a 4x4 for access we were fine in a normal car (just take it super slow).

Beautiful Vineyard Camping with Dog
I loved tent camping at this serene campsite! I would recommend this site to anyone coming through the area or trying to head through to Yosemite. The facility is extremely clean, well kept, and has a stunning view. There’s running water, beautiful night lighting, and a flushing toilet! Though it is beautiful, be mindful that there are a TON of mosquitos from dusk to dawn and if you have dogs, the fields are full of foxtails that can be extremely harmful to your animals. Also, I’d recommend a car that isn’t too low to the ground due to the bumpy dirt entrance for about half a mile. Other than that, it’s beautiful.
