Acres of pristine desert land. bring your friends or that special someone and camp out in the middle of the famed Wonder Valley among all its glory. This region is known for star gazing and the elevation makes it unique among all deserts. If you are looking for seclusion, this is it.

It's a 5 acre raw desert land. the surrounding is beautiful with native shrubs. there is an old homestead cabin from the turn of the century. It is unstable so please don't step in. there is a rough fire ring we've built with rocks found in the area. setup a small fire to keep yourself warm in those chilly desert nights. But be careful, wild fires a major danger in the area. Star gazing is phenomenal in this part of the desert, with very low light pollution and SoCal's clear skies.

The scenery is gorgeous! It’s so quiet out there. The desert sand is almost beachy, but definitely wear shoes when you’re walking around due to broken glass and rusty nails blown from the old cabin. Having a fire ring and an old makeshift table onsite was pretty convenient. Luckily we didn’t have any run-ins with any scary desert wildlife, but flies were kind of intense, so make sure to bring some bug spray.

As far as being in the the middle of nowhere, you’re only about 20min from the town of Twentynine Palms if you need gas or groceries. Joshua Tree is super close too if you want to go for a hike. We actually made a day trip down to Palm Springs, an easy 1.5 hr drive.

Thanks for letting us stay, Vik! We enjoyed the desert vibes!

Great site to see the stars, only 20mins or so to Joshua Tree Natl Park. A little tough to get to, so I recommend getting there during the day.

Vik always responded to our messages the same day. He gave very helpful tips re: the site, and the direction was easy to follow. We only stayed one night, but fully enjoyed the experience of sleeping under the stars and not having any other campers around!! I'd stay at his site again! Thank you, Vik!
