Spring is PeAk TiMe, so BOOK EARLY! If you cannot book this Site, that means it is already booked that night! Please look at our other listing, "Oat Prairie In Wine Town," which is our open back pasture, a dispersed camping area. The Sites 3 and 4 in the back will be removed at the end of May, and the "Oat Prairie" listing will serve for the entire back pasture.

Campsite "Party Tree," a large shaded area near the front of the property, room for up to 2 or 3 small tents or 2 large tents (up to 8 people), has fire ring and picnic table.

PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION, EVEN THE STUFF AT THE BOTTOM.

Our 7.25-acre farm has mountain views, beautiful winter sunsets and stars at night! Springtime sees the field lush and green from the rains! Summer is hot and dry, but the cool evening breeze is very nice.  See local small wildlife, including Red-tailed Hawks at their nest, wild quail, hummingbirds, and many songbirds.

We strive to make each guest feel welcome and ensure they have a wonderful camping experience, filled with (animal) entertainment, away from the big city hustle-and-bustle. But don't just take our word, read our reviews! :)

We offer breakfast at $4 per person, which includes farm-fresh eggs, waffles or pancakes, coffee, and (usually) some seasonal fruit or vegetable, as is available on the farm. MUST BE PAID in CASH at time you arrive, or time you order (which must be the night before, not the morning of). Vegetation and vegan options on request.

There's a toilet among the street trees near the front gate, cleaned once a week. We also have a portable outdoor shower that attaches to a hose.

What-to-do in town:  Ramona and surrounding area has 35+ wineries to sample, and hiking nearby at Mt. Woodson, and Cleveland National Park. Tour the old-fashioned boutiques downtown.

We no longer allow pets. We've had too many people not respecting our rule of "ALWAYS LEASHED" so now we must revoke the privilege.

We require you to sign our safety-and-acknowledgement waiver upon arrival. If you are not comfortable with a very-protective-but-well-trained SECURITY DOG, then I'm sorry this place is not for you!

NO RVs/campers/trailers. Just tents and cars.

Price is PER PERSON. Small children are not free. Come on, it's super cheap, just $10/person or less w/ weeknight discounts.

You may NOT book privately with us and pay cash when you get here. All bookings MUST be through this Hipcamp listing. No exceptions.

We can only approve same-day bookings IF we see the message soon enough AND are able to be home to meet you. Once you are approved, you must give us an ETA so we can plan to be here, and keep us updated if said ETA changes.

Follow us on FaceBook! Search for "The Eyrie Farm" :) We've got many ideas for beautifying the farm and are working toward it. Your camp bookings go directly toward improvements, such as new planting, irrigation, shade trees, additional campsites, and more!

This is such a quaint site!!! Our hosts were so kind, and gave us a tour of their farm and animals. A flock of chickens that ran free were so friendly too! Anna plays harp and was kind enough to bring hers out and give a delightful little concert! Whenever I'm back in the area I'll definitely come back here!!

My family (3 adults and 2 smaller kids) and I stayed with Anna and Joe during Spring break 2018. Anna and Joe were both very nice, super responsive, and accommodating to requests during our stay. Anna answered about a million questions from the kids! Castor the turkey was great and visited us often. Their dog Skylar takes a little to warm up, but she's friendly once she gets to know you better. The farm is a lovely space with an abundance of animal sounds to give you the full vibe, but it's not overly noisy. The road by the farm does get some car traffic, so be aware. Warm waffles and fresh scrambled eggs in the morning were wonderful and definitely appreciated! Thanks again for a lovely stay!!

I really enjoyed my one night camp-out on the farm. It was a refreshing change to do something different and John and Anna seem really keen to share their lifestyle with people. I know they are on a wonderful journey and the farm will just get better and better. I definitely recommend staying here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and had a great time. The location is great! Its super close to many of Ramona's local wineries (we went to three). They have a great pepper tree to pitch your tent under and the birds provide ample entertainment. Anna and her husband were even kind enough to provide us with waffles and eggs in the morning. This was a great alternative camping spot.

My girlfriend and I had a great time at Eyrie Farm! It was so fun being around all of the animals! Some of our favorites were Romeo (the horse) and Castor the turkey (which my girlfriend named George Washington lol). The spot was nice and the weather was pretty sweet too. Thank you so much Anna and John! We look forward to coming back.

Cute and full of animals, close to lots of wineries. You do have to sign a waiver, which we didn’t know.

Thank you Jenna. If I remember correctly, you were the first party we had sign waivers. We learn as we go, and now it says clearly in our rules and description about the waiver.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time camping on Anna's farm. It was wonderful getting to know the chickens, the dog Skyler, the horse Romeo and especially the male turkey, Castor: the friendliest turkey on Earth. No wonder Benjamin Franklin wanted Turkey's as our national bird. We paid extra for breakfast (only $3 per person) and were treated to fresh coffee, waffles and farm eggs. The color of the eggs was out of this world! We would gladly recommend this spot in a heartbeat and will definitely be back.

Anna and John were extremely welcoming when we arrived and helped us settle in. We had a wonderful dinner and built a fire that night. John and Anna both came out and shared some smores with us, such a delight! The stars from their farm were beautiful, just as expected, and it was a dream to get away from the city. My fiance and I enjoyed learning about the farm and all the food being grown. Castor the turkey was also a favorite, who knew turkeys could be such friendly animals! The next day we took a trip to one of the wineries and went to hike Iron Mountain. We would recommend this place to anyone! Looking forward to going back to Ramona some time!

Very nice hosts with so many different animals to see on the property. The farm fresh breakfast was the BEST and plenty of wineries to visit in the area. Craster the turkey became a good friend.
