Beautiful
We loved our stay. It’s such a beautiful and quiet place in Yucca Valley. And so close to Joshua Tree. Ed was very friendly and fast at communication. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Ed and Susan's place is wonderful: beautiful views, easy to find, COVID cautious, and a clean bathroom! Exactly what we needed :) We only met Ed, and he was very kind, helped advise re: the very windy weather and helped us jumpstart our car!

Not only was the Star Base 2 property clean and beautiful, but Ed and Susan were more than accommodating, lovely hosts.
Our RV site had full hookups, a private fire pit suited with chairs and a table & Joshua Trees surrounding us. There’s a flushing toilet and working sink in a clean bathroom to use, and beautifully maintained paths around the property where you can play horseshoe, enjoy the sunset around a fire pit or practice yoga as the sun comes up.
Ed and Susan really have thought of everything - our fire pit was even set up with kindling and there is firewood on-site to purchase if you didn’t bring your own.
We were sad when it was time to leave & will definitely be returning to explore more of the area in the future!

I met Ed on the first night of our stay and he was very welcoming to us and gave us some local recommendations. Everything was very clean and well kept up and we felt very comfortable and safe staying there. I would recommend taking some extra blankets if your camping because it can get pretty cold and windy during the winter.

This is a beautiful spot to stay! We had all the hookups we needed for our campervan, and we enjoyed the sunset viewing spot and the firepit. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and Ed was a very friendly and accommodating host. We hope to be back!
