Ojai Oasis
The campsite was absolutely beautiful! We loved staying by the little beach area, and exploring the town of Ojai and Ventura- only a 15 minute drive to Ventura beaches! Also-trust the directions. They will lead you directly to the campsite as indicated by the picnic table and red chairs you will see. The porta-potty was a bit of a walk away from the lower campsite area, and there wasn't a water spigot nearby, so just be prepared to bring lots of water and a little walk for the bathroom. Otherwise, it was extremely peaceful and such a beautiful getaway!

The toys they had around the campsite were really fun to play with and we had fun when we stayed!

Not as peaceful as we would have liked. The noise from the nearby road seemed to go on all night. At least the frogs sang to us to balance it out.

Lush Meadow on a River near Ojai
This site is right on the Ventura river in Oak View and is truly beautiful. The sounds of the water and the frogs are super soothing and put me right to sleep for the 2 nights we were there. It is near a highway though and you can hear cars until about 11pm and then pick back up around 7am. There are 2 areas to camp on this property, in a meadow when you first drive in and on a higher piece of land that you have to cross the creek to get to. Smaller cars made it into the meadow(a Prius) but we used our AWD to get through the river and camp on the higher piece of land. There is a portapotty that is well maintained and small solar lights around the property. The property caretaker, Michelle, was kind and helpful but also let us be which was perfect. Great place to put up a tent or car camp for the night, close(less than 10 minutes) to Ojai and Ventura.

Peace & Quiet Close to Ocean & Ojai
Nice quick night in the meadow.
Stephan was great and met me to help guide me to the spot. Was a great little meadow with lots of open space. There is a little creek nearby with a beach and spot to soak up the sun.
I was only there for a night and morning but was very easy and peaceful spot. There are bike riding trails on the property which sounded like a fun reason to come back.
