Pasture View campsite is good for tents, vehicle, or RV's less than 23ft. It’s under shady oaks all day except sunset over the hills and forest. Water hookups at site. It’s a short walk to a pond and the surrounding forest is great to explore and mushroom hunt seasonally. There are Plenty of outdoor activities in the surrounding area as well rivers and hotsprings and redwood forests.

Nice and private camping spot. Water was available but there were no toilet. I wish that the host had told me before that the cannabis wasn’t going on this year. The lake nearby was nice too to beat the heat. Would come back.

A perfect escape for R&R

Fir Forest camp East Mountain View

David's land was the perfect place for our first camping trip together! His property is beautiful and David is an excellent host! We got to share a few meals and chat about his farm, history, and more. He is communicative, attentive, helpful, and overall great company! The view of the stars from his property were breathtaking and you could really feel like you're away from the hustle & bustle of life. David's land allowed us to relax and refresh over the long weekend and we are so thankful for his hospitality. The outhouse was surprisingly serene too. My BF and I took a "hike" down to the main road and back up. The views were spectacular and makes me love living in CA so much more. The dirt road leading up to his property is unpaved. I got my Prius up and down alright but just be sure to take your time- it's worth it! Overall, we highly recommend staying on David's farm.

This is a unique place. It takes a bit of effort to get there but well worth it. Great views, solitude and a wonderful host.

Really hard to find in the dark. It seems the camping spot was double booked and there isn’t any room for additional vehicles. A high clearance vehicle should be highly recommended.

David was kind enough to accommodate me during the busy Memorial Day weekend. The site was clean, quiet, and out-of-the-way. Very amenable host near great mountain bike/ATV trails.

I would have mixed feelings about recommending this site to a friend because it would depend on what that person is looking for. It’s a beautiful piece of property and the host was very nice, flexible with our arrival time, and gave us privacy. This site is perfect if you are looking for a simple good ,old fashioned, camping on the top of a mountain experience.
