Coyote Meadows
IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE!
This place is beyond 11/10! When my boyfriend & I first arrived, Suzen’s husband, Don was waiting for us to direct us to the camp site. From there, Suzen rolled up on her little golf cart with her amazing rescued dog, Lucy, to show us around the whole site and how each thing was worked! She even brought us fresh farm eggs and we got to enjoy them in the morning!
I don’t even know where to start about the whole experience! From the trailer to the outdoor kitchen to the outdoor shower, clean portable bathroom, and bonfire site, it was beyond more than what I ever expected! We originally scheduled for Sunday through Tuesday but we loved it so much that we asked to extent for another night! Not to mention, the drive to Yosemite was about an hour drive away.
This was a wonderful first destination to start off for our week long road trip! Suzen and her husband were amazing hosts; they were just the sweetest people I’ve ever met. My boyfriend and I could not be more grateful to stumble upon this magnificent site!

Coyote Meadows
Suzen was amazing, and the space was great!! Would definitely like to stay here again when we come back to Yosemite. Felt very safe and the camper was really comfortable. There was a huge fire pit with wood, and she also provided ice so we could refill our coolers. The kitchen space was huge and well stocked, and it was fun seeing their horses grazing in the pasture nearby. We will be back!

Sue was fantastic and so helpful in every part of our stay. She helped us with great directions both to the location, to our planned activities for the next day, and to our campsite for the next evening! The site is beautiful and cooking dinner there was a great experience and worth far more than Sue asks for. She provides great guides along with ice in coolers that is great for anyone travelling with food. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone, especially a family or couple looking for a great place close to Yosemite with fantastic hosts.

Coyote Meadows
Sue and Don were the bests hosts we’ve ever had on hipcamp and Airbnb combined! They were so kind and friendly and made us feel so welcomed. The site was large with many thoughtful touches (candles, dried Lavendar, shower essentials), the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and oils/spices, and there were plenty of shaded sitting areas. Our family (4 adults, 2 toddlers) enjoyed sitting by the campfire every day, walking the very short distance to Dawn Lake, enjoying the outdoor playground nearby, and we all had a chance to enjoy the fantastic outdoor shower. Sue came down with carrots and let us feed her 3 beautiful horses. We also saw a family of deer roaming around which was so magical to witness. We took 2 trips into Yosemite which was ~1 hr to the south entrance. Me, my husband and our 2 yo son slept in the comfy camper and my sister and her family slept in a tent pitched next to us. There is plenty of space to pitch a couple more tents as well. We stayed 3 nights there and wish we had More time there! Thank you so much Sue and Don! We will be back!

Best Campsite Ever
This place was nothing short of spectacular! Everything was provided to make us extra comfortable and assure we had a great time. Suzen and her husband were so nice and made sure we had the best stay, going above and beyond to make sure our trip in to Yosemite would be perfect. We will definitely be back to stay at this exact location!
