Owl's Nest
Owl's Nest was magical, simply put. Saya and Jared were both consummate hosts, greeting us as soon as we arrived. The yurt was in amazing condition--clean, safe, private, and the unexpected bonus of being so incredibly charming. The site itself is situated atop a bit of a hill, so the views are extraordinary (looking down into the desert valley floor and right over beautiful rocks shaped by the nearby San Andreas fault). My husband and I brought our dog along as well, and the space was perfectly safe for him to roam around. The beauty of the sunrise and sunset was only paralleled by the unobstructed views of the stars at night. I really can't say enough good things about Owl's Nest and I know we'll be back again soon!

Owl's Nest
Sleeping in a Yurt should definitely be on everybody's bucket list... My stay at the Owls Nest checked this life box and left me peaceful, smiling, and longing to return. Expectations? I had many, and the Owls Nest exceeded them. I now call it Palmdale's Hidden Gem.

Nice getaway from the city. Comfortable and cozy inside. Devils Plunchbowl is a great place to visit
Could use more shade so you can sit outside in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast.
Host was very friendly. I felt safe as it was just me and my dog.

Owl's Nest
I would recommend OWLS'S NEST to everyone who wants to escape from the city! What a peaceful stay at the yurt! It was only 1 hour and 15 mins drive from downtown LA. The yurt was so cozy. I had the best sleep, too! Enjoyed the beautiful view of The Devil's Punchbowl all afternoon long which was such a treat. Can't wait to go back during the winter!

Owl's Nest
The yurt we stayed in was cute and upkeep. The hosts were very nice and inviting but they also gave us our privacy. From the open doors of the yurt we could see the Devil's Punch Bowl County Park. It was a treat to be so near a monumental geological landmark.
