The living room is rather large and has an entertainment center that features surround sound and a flat screen TV with Roku Player, Netflix, HBO etc.

The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and its own bath with a shower and corner soaking tub. All bedrooms have vaulted ceilings as well and views of the forest. There are king size beds in all three bedrooms. There is plenty of extra floor space to accommodate more sleeping areas if needed. This home would be great for small events!

We drove 7 hours from LA and definitely worth the trip. Beautiful property and the host Hallelujah is very accommodating and friendly.
We made great memories relaxing in the hot tub while the sun was setting. We felt safe and we had privacy.

We had an amazing time! Halle was so welcoming and kind with his time and space. He called the day we were set to arrive to give us specific directions about the property. When we arrived, we were given the tour of the guest house, shown how all of the amenities worked, and were invited to checkout the rest of his estate once we were settled in. The views from the hills and vistas on his land were incredible! The house itself was very comfortable. My only critic is that the kitchen wasn't as well stocked as I would have wanted, but I love to cook so my expectations of well stocked is a bit higher then most. The bedrooms were spacious, the furnishings were all very comfortable, including the beds (which I am also a bit picky about), and the master bathroom has a tub that I could fully submerge in! Our second day there, we set out to hike the area, and he was kind enough to lead us on a light to moderate trail, pointed out several natural highlights, some bits of history about the surroundings that he knew, and let three grown women turn into little girls at one point while we searched for Lake County Diamonds (beautiful quartz crystals). The hot tub is at the very top of the hill, but the views at night while we soaked were well worth the effort of getting to it from the guest house. We all had such a good time that we will be back!

We had such a great time at Hallelujah's place! We needed a getaway (after all 4 of us working and going to school at home together for months!) and wanted to be in a natural setting but it was also my son's 11th birthday and he didn't want to camp because he wanted at least a little wifi so this was PERFECT!! The house is large and comfortable (comfy beds, hot water, washer and dryer, big tv with Netfilix) but still "rustic" enough to not feel like you're just in yet another house somewhere, and the grounds were truly amazing. From day one Halle was incredibly helpful and patient with us as we weighed our concerns about the local fires. His cancellation policy is very generous and he was completely understanding if we needed to cancel but he gave us the inside scoop, found us a way around the road closures, and of course he was right - we felt completely safe and I'm soooo glad we didn't cancel! He kindly met us and showed us around the property including a hike to find local "Lake County diamonds" (which thrilled my son!) and see the beautiful views. He's incredibly generous - the hot tub and view deck are actually at his house on the property but we felt COMPLETELY welcomed and at home using them (and my kids can be really shy, so this is no small thing). Our dog didn't ever want to leave she loved it there so much! My favorite part was the teepee with wild light show where we hung out at night after the hot tub. Such a magical place - highly recommend for you adventurers out there! :)

I could have slept in that teepee! Next time, for sure! :)This was one of the coldest evenings they'd had in a long time and my kids LOVED it - we could see rain in the distance, and the sunset was magical! Halle even put on music for us, and the fire kept us warm. What a view from the hot tub! A deer walked right by!

We desperately needed some time away after months of COVID home-bound life. This was a great escape - the property is full of nice walks for the dog; the hot tub looks out over the valley and is amazing at sunset; and the area has a ton of great hikes. Hot tub is a little further up the hill than expected but Hallelujah was welcoming and totally respectful of our privacy.

This listing is good for a group of people who want to have a party. Its big and you have privacy. I chose this place as a splurge to try and relax after a rough month of work-I was drawn by the hot tub and the soaking tub. Upon arrival the host was at the house getting it ready mask-less. I was deathly sick with covid last year and my housemate is immune compromised so I felt unsafe as soon as we got there. People hosting the public should abide by basic public health guidelines.
The house is spacious although I didn't feel it was particularly clean. When we get there we find out that the hot tub is up a hill (you have to drive up) and behind the hosts house. I'm a very understanding person, I can hang, so we go up and get in-and its not so hot. Its okay but disappointing. At this point I'm still staying positive--I'm like, okay, I'll take a nice bath at the house. So we go back and I start a bath, get in when there's about an inch of warm water and then realize the water coming out of the tap is coming out cold. So we boil a big pot of water and carry on but the bath is colder than the hot tub. The following day as we are packing to go the host comes down (mask-less) a quarter before check out and asks us how it was, tells us the water had gone out. I tell him we noticed. Honestly, I couldn't talk with him about it right there because I was too irritated in that moment- I paid over $400 for the hot water and to try and relax my nerves not irritate them. I sent a message to the host over hipcamp asking for a partial refund but the host has not replied.

Beautiful place. The views are majestic. Host is super friendly and nice. The photos on Hipcamp don’t do justice , the place is prettier than pics. Only thing I would have loved is to have our own fireplace to sit with family.
