Hello!

We rest on two acres of private property located in the heart of the Mother Lode in historic Mariposa. Separated by a seasonal creek, on one side we have a small cabin which we live in and a forest of trees on the other that we extend to travelers looking for a spot to park or pitch a tent or two. (Need tents or gear? We have whatever you need for a small fee.)

We are located on an old back road with minimal traffic. The campsite can be seen from the road but the cars are sparse and slow. Our only neighbor is a mineral extraction operation that periodically runs commercial equipment during the day. All is quiet after 4pm just in time for the symphony of frogs in the nearby creek to start their nightly chatter.

We are just ten minutes to the center of town which has everything you could possibly need. The town is set in a charming scene reminiscent of the old mining town it once was. We are surrounded by several scenic spots to enjoy and a 45 minute drive to Yosemite National Park.

We have two baby goats, Buddy and Levi and a little Boston Bulldog, Lucy that also live on the property. All are friendly and love people. We offer a laid back causal vibe and privacy if wanted, but we're always down for a good cup of coffee by a friendly fire.

Olivia’s place is a hidden gem, conveniently located on the way to Yosemite park.
The campsite was homey, well decorated with a nice picnic table, a campfire pit and seats facing a beautiful river. They provided us with wood and we had access to a bathroom on the property. Olivia and her friends treated us as family and gave us recommendations about nice things to do in the area off the beaten path. I’ll definitely stay again at Olivia’s in the future.

Great campsite! Very well maintained, peaceful, and private. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Spent a day in Yosemite Valley which wasn't too far and it was nice to have this secluded campsite to come back to. Will definitely be visiting again!

La campagne. L’authentique! Aux portes du Yosemite. Emplacements très limités mais super charmants l’endroit est bien tenu. Hyper au calme et hôtes aux petits soins. Cabine de douches... dans une cabane en haut d’un arbre ! Go !

Translation; "Countryside. Authentic! At the gates of Yosemite. Pitches very limited but super charming the place is well kept. Hyper quiet and hosts care. Shower cabin ... in a cabin at the top of a tree! Go!" Thank you Ljubomir for the nice review and staying with us! It was a pleasure having you.

This spot was great! Close to Yosemite and a cute little mining town. Our host, Olivia even recommended some great local spots to hang. They are really cool people to chat up!

Beautiful spot just outside of Mariposa and about an hour into the valley. Kevin and Olivia are wonderful hosts.. very accomodating and friendly and were more than happy to provide us with tips for our time in Yosemite. Space is gorgeous with lots of room for our van, fire ring and wifi great touches and toilet very clean. 100% recommend Frog Hollow!
