Camping on a mini farm in nature
Michael‘s place was great! The tent had a lot of space and two beds inside. He was very friendly and gave some good tips about the area! His family was kind too and lives in the house on the farm, next to the tent. Their dog was super friendly and excited to see us, so was their kitten (so much so she wanted to sleep in the tent, which was pretty cute). They also have chickens (good alarm clock), goats and horses. Besides the tent, there is a little outhouse, a fire pit and a small outdoor kitchen. It was really so peaceful and quiet there! A good place to unplug!

Quiet, cozy, wooded, homestead fun!
Really great location, extremely peaceful. Very friendly well cared for animals. I would definitely consider this a destination not just a place to crash on your way. Definitely would and already have recommended it to a friend.

Farm had goats, chickens, and horses. They were people and dog friendly. Host was nice and just as described. Camp kitchen had the basics so if looking for more, bring your own.

Farm Camping nr Ocean and Redwoods
North Coast Farm Stay
Mike’s place was the perfect, rustic basecamp for two Angelenos exploring the North Coast. Our dog became fast friends with their dog, and we enjoyed the slower pace of life.
It was awesome to be able to unpack in a tent on a platform and start a fire right away after a long roadtrip.
A few notes:
The road isn’t clearly marked. It’s the first turn off Branscomb.
I would bring your own cutlery as there isn’t a full set available in the outdoor kitchen. But there is enough to make it work 🙂
This is a definitely a farm! There will be the sound of roosters in the morning and trucks on neighboring farms.
The posting suggests you bring your own linens, but our made was made for us when we arrived. It was nice surprise!

Farm Camping nr Ocean and Redwoods
Very nice setting. Close to the ocean, in a woods, and you can make fire in a fire pit which was very nice at night. We were greeted by a very friendly and cute dog ^^) Great location to visit many coastal vista points and hiking trails in the woods!
