We had our first camping trip of the year here at Site 5 and it was amazing. Such a beautiful location with the river running full just next door and surrounded by beautiful foothills. Plenty of birds including hummingbirds, ducks, flycatchers, various songbirds. We camped from our rooftop tent and this site is perfectly configured to support that kind of camping. Tom came by each day to make sure we were doing OK. He’s gentle soul and we could tell he really loves this place. Hoping to meet Rachael on the next trip. Our 9 year old granddaughter had a great time as well.

I recently stayed at this property with my trailer by the river, and I had a wonderful experience. The host was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, making sure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location by the river was absolutely beautiful, and I enjoyed spending my time by the water.
The property was well-maintained and had all the amenities I could ask for. The host was always available to answer any questions I had and made sure that I felt welcome throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway.
Overall, my stay at this property exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to the host for a fantastic experience!

The scenery is outstanding and pristine. We were lucky to catch the first wildflowers of the season in early April. The river was raging and cold from snowmelt and rains, so we didn't swim. However, we later found out that a short hike downriver would have brought us to calmer waters. There is also a spot near Sawyer's Bar #1 where you can wade. All of the campsites look great- clean, spacious, and private. Except for the river water, it was very quiet. No parties or hooligans. The directions were very clear. We appreciated the host stopping by and his information and tips about the area. I'm sure that we will be back- perhaps in the summer when we can swim/tube. We saw a coyote on the other side of the river. Definitely recommend this campground for peace and quiet and beauty.
