Really loved staying here! Super private spot with a ton of space for tents, cars, tables, etc. Right across from the lake with some stellar views 30 seconds walk up the hill. The driveway is indeed a 4x4 sort of road (made it up with the Jeep and the Subaru but not the Golf). Note that it can also get pretty windy up there on the hill as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Camp Glory is so close to the Bay Area, and Adam was a wonderful host! We had a great time driving up to this site and found it with ease. We didn't have a 4x4 vehicle so had to hike up, but it really wasn't so bad! It's steep but short—just make sure you are packed compactly if you walk it! There's great access to the water and it's not far away at all from Markley Cove Marina and the cute little town of Winters, CA! We also really enjoyed the hike up the mountain on the property and the view of the stars. We'll be back :)

Great little spot just a stone's throw from the Bay Area. This campsite is in great proximity to Lake Berryessa and the Markley Cove Resort.
Parking
Parking is along the side of the road. Although there is plenty of room to park - there will be a lot of beach-goers so parking was sparse.
Hike up
It's an incredibly short hike up a relatively steep dirt road. I would guess the walk itself is 100-200ft. Something my mom could hike but definitely not grandmother material.
Campsite
I liked how large the campsite was. Plenty of room to park several trucks and tents. The campsite comes with two picnic tables, a charcoal grill, one small firepit, an umbrella and a hammock. There were great views of the lake and places to hike around in the immediate area (we hiked the mountain behind us).
A few things did need maintaining. One of the picnic tables, the umbrella and chair were broken. There are also bee hives on the property - they're harmless but heads up if you're allergic.
If I were to come here again, I come up early with a large group of friends and spend the day on the water. End the day with a campfire and BBQ'ing burgers/brats on the grill.
I highly recommend stopping by the town of Winters on your way back for beer, brunch, etc.

Overall the experience was good. The hike up to the site wasn’t as bad as expected. The walk down to the lake was great and the Lake, and the views were awesome. The only negative was the condition of the site. Needed some clean up and and a little t.l.c. One of the picnic tables was broken. There was also a broken umbrella. It just looked unkept.

Definitely need an off road vic. Hill is steep leading to camp site. Get your hiking legs in gear if planning to walk to site. Cool camp site.
