The ad for this space does not do it justice. We had a great weekend; beautiful hiking near by, lake Hemet to explore, and a vista view from the porch that was just killer. Kari was such a warm and wonderful host - everyone in our group agreed that we wanted to come back again (and again!) in the future. Thanks, Kari!
The owners are incredibly nice, helpful and accommodating. Very dog friendly. Very charming welcoming- the cabin has a nice peaceful feeling to it. Sitting on the balcony was the best. Beds are nice and comfy and the kitchen has loads of gadgets tools etc for preparing food. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
It's a fully furnished a-frame cabin, big enough for 4 people comfortably. Great patio that has some shade till late afternoon in the summer. There are no buildings in your way, though you can see the highway, and you can see Palm Springs way down the mountain (a 25 minute drive).
Full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, freezer, plates, utensils, etc. There's a shower, a flush toilet, and wifi. There's always a breeze coming through, so mostly it's cool even in July just by opening the windows and sliding doors, but there are two room air conditioners if you want to go that way.
It's so well stocked that it's not really even camping, but I was just looking for somewhere to decompress for a couple days and it did the trick. There are some top notch restaurants in nearby Idyllwild. And after a morning hiking in summer heat that shower is a godsend.
