Our stay was exactly what we expected! Cassandra was very responsive. The trailer were very clean and comfortable. And the location ideal for a quiet weekend away. Lots of amazing local hikes in the area in addition to Zion. The area is also full of interesting history. We will be back with our kids next time. Enough room for all! A few small touches we recommended for next time (stainless steel utensils and a hatchet for chopping fire wood) which Cassandra was very receptive to.
I rented this camper with my friends. The four of us enjoyed our stay. We loved barbecuing and sitting in a circle near the bonfire. The air conditioner helped us beat the heat after coming back from visiting Zion National Park. We were able to all shower and relax before enjoying another night under the stars. We all felt safe and slept comfortably in our beds. It was also lovely to enjoy breakfast at the picnic table just outside the camper. We also loved enjoying coffee in the mornings on the dining table in the camper which had a beautiful arrangement of flowers. All cooking utensils were accessible and pots. Our stay in this camper was wonderful. The hallmark was waking up and stepping outside and seeing the sun illuminate the mountains near the lake.
Secluded with views!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Camp Valhalla! Cassandra and her camp manager, Elissa, were SO sweet and hospitable! Elissa came by throughout our stay to make sure the RV had everything we needed to be comfortable and she even came in the morning and helped us jump our car battery that had died!! Anytime I reached out to Cassandra she would respond within minutes. My fiancé and I were on a big road trip and it was the perfect place to recharge every night while we were exploring southern Utah and northern Arizona. We were tucked away from people, it felt so private and like we were still out in nature vs a super crowded park/resort, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. The AC worked wonderfully, as well as the shower and hot water. We also had a full fridge and kitchen to cook meals in everyday! You are SURROUNDED by beautiful red rock mountains! The sunsets were breathtaking and we even discovered a little lake about 5 mins from camp! Come check this place out- trailer life is great!!!
Beautiful view with privacy
Great little site. I love that it was very secluded. There’s one more site next to it that is just a spot with no RV But no one was there. The owner was very responsive to messages and the host was very responsive to text messages when and if we had questions. She had to come to check on Something for us and was very nice and welcoming but other than that we had no contact so we had lots of privacy. The views at this place alone make it worth it and there’s a few little trails nearby, look up Water Canyon Cliffside for a nice trail. We took the backcountry area to Bryce and that drive was absolutely beautiful (it goes through Pink Sand Dunes). It’s also an hour drive to Zion. The camper could fit many people but it was just my husband, myself and two year old and we were comfortable. AC worked very well and so did the refrigerator and freezer. They let you know up front there’s limited water so it ran out the night before we left but we had extra water that we used for handwashing, dishes and to put in the toilet. I’m sure if we messaged the host she would have been down right away to get more water but it was late at night and we were leaving in the morning anyways so didn’t want her coming just for the night. Lots of cookware and a teapot/coffee pot to use one the stove and a few spices. I’d suggest to the host to have a can opener added to their cookware, ours wasn’t working for some reason and we wish there was one there. We enjoyed our stayed and appreciated the seclusion, the quietness, the privacy and the beautiful views. There’s a small convenient store nearby if you need something. We’d stay here again.
This place was amazing, I stayed here with my boyfriend and two kids and we had a great time. We cook outside, we had the fire pit on and amazing sunset and stars. Private and quiet. I’ll definitely come back.
