Animal farm gem with a view
We were on a road trip and passing through Sedona but wanted to avoid the crowded (or full) campgrounds north of the town. We found the Riparian Ranch just as we drove into town and we’re so glad we stopped for the night. We spent time with the donkeys and the Alpacas (Steven even told us we could get inside with them, they were curious and unafraid). We slept in our tent nearby, made dinner and ate watching the sunset with an amazing view of the valley and mountains ahead. Steven was welcoming and very clear with directions and very prompt with communication. We didn’t have time to explore the creek down below but loved the experience and would return if we’re ever in the area. We knew there was no extra amenities (like toilets on site), and we were self-sufficient so we were more than pleasantly surprised by this last minute gem of a find. Highly recommend to other hipcampers!
Overlooking a ridge by starlight.
Camped on a beautiful overlook of the valley. We got in just after sunset and I called and promptly got escorted up to a few camp options. The site was clear of debris. We camped one night under a half moon and still got great starlight views. Thanks y'all my gf and I could not be happier!
This is a beautiful spot with amazing views, alpaca and donkeys. The host was very friendly. My only wish is that there was be a picnic table, or somewhere to sit and play cards and look at the stars.
An amazing mountain escape!
Such a fun getaway! Hosts were so gracious and kind, letting us help feed their adorable alpacas. An amazing view of the mountains, very peaceful and clean. Close to the vineyards, yet secluded and tranquil for a great night's rest. Highly recommend!
