We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village located 50 minutes from the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 on the east side of the highway is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. Close to the Grand Canyon! Just 1/2 mile off the Arizona Trail! Hike 6 miles to Snowbowl. This darling camper cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed (2 guests), and two pull out couches for up to four additional guests. The well stocked kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you'll need for cooking, a propane range, as well as a cooler for your use (bring ice). A gas barbecue is on site as well. The wood stove kicks out a ton of heat to keep you toasty while you sip on steamy hot chocolate that is provided for your enjoyment. Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. The property is located approximately 2.1 miles off the main highway down a forest service road. The road is in excellent shape during the summer months. During winter you MUST have a 4WD vehicle to access the property, particularly if there has been a significant snowfall recently. During a snowy period, access may require either cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling to the property from the main highway (approx 2.1 miles). If you get stuck on the road it will be your own responsibility. Please check with the owner a couple days prior to your visit to check on road conditions during the winter! Pets must be well behaved and cleaned up after, including excessive animal hair. Leash laws apply to Coconino National Forest. Please do not book the Glamper Cabin if you plan to bring a pet which is known to be aggressive or unpredictable in nature, including breeds or mixed breeds such as pitbulls, rottweilers, bullmastiff and American Bulldog. We are not responsible for any interactions your pets may have with wildlife or other pets in the area.

This spacious land is over 4 acres of high desert with breathtaking 360 degree views. Only 45 minutes from Flagstaff, 30 minutes from the historic Grand Canyon, and only 36 minutes from Williams, this property is in the middle of it all. There is so much potential for amazing adventures. You could go fishing in Williams or have a snowball fight in Flagstaff. If you have never seen the Grand Canyon you are in for an ultimate life changing experience. The dark night skies in this area may just keep you at camp. You can see every star out here and enjoy the escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With wide open spaces you have so much room to play. The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Back to basics with endless desert sky. Hike giant rock sculptures, gather petrified wood, maybe find the hidden pond or seasonal Little Colorado to splash in . Bathed in the Canyon's ethereal ambiance, powdery views of Navajo Plateau and snowy San Francisco Peaks await. This is “Stone Soup,” in honor of unique geology and a folktale where everyone brings something to make a whole greater than its parts. A hut, built with love during musical campouts, materials are recycled from building sites may be available, on a first-come first serve basis, but please don't count on anything being there but the open land and sky. There are 40 acres to explore and camp on. You can follow the property boundaries, or just head straight out from the hut away from the road or on the other side of the road for at least half a mile and camp anywhere. You can drive all over the land in a regular vehicle and find your spot. If you do use the hut, please leave it in better shape than you found it. Same with the land. Here is my vision: Adventurous, creative, nature-loving kindred souls can converge on these 40 acres and bring what they need but also share with one another (the stone soup spirit). Although you do need to take in and out everything (water, food, bedding...) and there is no outhouse at the moment (dunes for some privacy, and thinly bury your waste), you can drive anywhere on the land and have what you need in your vehicle. It sometimes gets windy, so car-camping is recommended over tents, though you can also bring your RV. Basically at the moment, this is an isolated, wild campsite, with total peace and quiet but where you bring everything. There is no running water, cooking supplies, or toilet. You may find firewood further down the road, and can have a fire anytime, but nothing is supplied. You will need to take your trash with you. The photos are not up to date and still show amenities that are not there. The hut may be available, but it is just a structure with no door. Also note that there is no way to get there with Google maps/ GPS coordinate. I will send detailed directions if you book, but you probably want to arrive with some daylight. If prepared to rough it, it's a gorgeous site with open sky, amazing views, stars, rocks, and silence.

Off Grid BnB and Stargazing

Located inside the boundaries of the Kaibab National Forest, only 25 minutes south of the Grand Canyon, and less than 75 yards off the highway, the Off Grid B and B is a real escape, offering star-lit skies, sunny days, and total seclusion. All of our guests get access to hot showers, a clean and private lavatory, and a large fire pit with locally mined flagstone benches under the shadow of two pinion pines. For side-by-sides and four-wheeler fanatics, there are hundreds of miles of back country trails literally connected to the driveway of this property. Epic hikes abound less than a half-hour in every direction. We are pet-friendly, offer pet-sitting services, bundles of hardwood for the campfire, and even laundry services for extended stays.

Enjoy campfires, mountain views and nature on this one acre property with easy access less than a mile from Highway 64. This campsite is 3.7 miles from Grand Canyon Junction for food, gas, water, and supplies, and 30 miles to Grand Canyon National Park. There are two sites with fire pits and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it. Other things to note: From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain. Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions. Catch a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon from Tusayan, AZ which is only 25 minutes north. Our property is dry camping only and it's pack in and pack out. Please don't leave any trash. There are showers at Love's Travel Stop in Williams, AZ 30 minutes South which gets good reviews. The charming town of Williams, AZ is on Route 66 and there are lots of things to see and do. We look forward to hosting you and it's our hope you will create memories that will last a lifetime. Our property is your primitive high desert paradise. It is on level ground and suitable for tents, all vehicles and RVs. There are no restrooms or utilities on the property. Pets are allowed. Please pick up after them. Please do not leave any trash. If I come back I would hands-down camp here over any of the other campsites in Grand Canyon. It's smaller, more secluded than other campgrounds in the park. You can walk to amazing overlooks of the canyon, and the desert tower is a hidden gem full of history definitely worth checking out even if you're just swinging by!

Head here later in the afternoon to beat the crowds and see a magical show put on by mother nature. And if you catch the site after a rain event, you might even get lucky enough to see a double rainbow!

It's pretty easy to get a campsite if you show up before 11am. There's water spouts located throughout the campground. Clean restrooms and a helpful park ranger. Well maintained.

This is. A very baron, crowded camp ground. It is fine for family friendly activities. Not a place to crush case with the boys!

You can't make reservations here, so be sure to show up early. There's a great secret trail near campsite #46 to the edge of the canyon.
