Winkle Mini Farm is located within two miles of the Coosa River, which features fishing and kayaking. It is also located within three miles of the historic downtown Childersburg whose claim to fame is "The Oldest City in America", dating back to 1540. The house itself was built in 1959, featuring the original hardwood floors, country charm, and modern amenities. Our neighbor, Mr. Harris, has lived next door since his and our home was built. He says we are the first to farm the land and has many great stories about Childersburg and the surrounding areas. You are likely to catch him outside in his own garden.

    Camp Wink was great. The owner left clear and easy directions. The House (bathroom and kitchen) was spotless. Super cute cat in the yard and a fantastic and comfy swing made with an old bed frame, comfortable enough for two to lounge on. Highly recommend it and grateful for finding such a great place.

    We loved Camp Wink! It was super easy to find and the directions to access and setup were comprehensive and easy. We loved the large fenced in area so our dogs could run around. We had the 30amp plug-in and a water hook-up, and a cute fire pit. Did I mention wifi? The wifi worked great! My husband and I both worked full remote days from our RV in the yard and had no issues. Fantastic value for the price. It was a quick stopover for us but we would do it again. I wish we had more time to explore the area. Thanks, Camp Wink!
