RV campers are spoiled for choice across northern Ohio, from state parks to secluded spots.
From Cleveland, RV campers can head in a number of directions—camp near Lake Erie, park your campervan in the countryside near Akron, or head out to Cuyahoga Valley National Park to experience the waterfalls in Ohio's only national park, a working railroad, and the Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Although overnight camping is not allowed in the park, a number of RV parks and RV sites can be found nearby, many with amenities like full hookups, dump stations, flush toilets, and picnic tables. Punderson State Park offers lakeside fun, hiking trails, and bike paths, all in addition to full hookup RV campsites with 30- and 50-amp electric, while West Branch State Park's RV campground is surrounded by woods and meadows. For a private RV camping experience outside Cleveland, opt for a secluded Hipcamp campsite with no neighbors to be found.
