Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15

Stunning Rockcliffe Vineyard

The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rocklicffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. Thank you for your patience.** This property has 70 acres of lush Karri forest with the original old logging trails from approximately 100 years ago, which make for beautiful nature walks. The track through the forest, for the main campsite is about 3.5m wide and and can get a little slippery so caution is needed but can be done in small and large vehicles (probably not big RV). There is open air bath and shower which is heated from an old brae-mar hot water system. There is one transportable long drop toilet near the site and a fire pit for cooking and sitting around but other from that you have to be self sufficient. There is access to drinking water.. If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pasture on the hill with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of Denmark, WA. Pets on leashes are welcome. Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill. Campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet. We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space. Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach. Campers must be self-contained and leave no trace. The nearest dump point is the Tourist Information Centre on Albany Hwy, Mt Barker 19km away. Groups of up to 6 families (people who know each other) can be accommodated at any one time. As you are the only ones camping, you're welcome to make a bit of noise (music, generators etc). The rate is $32 for up to two adults, per night, $16 per extra adult per night, and any accompanying children (under 18) are free. Note: Please still add children to the booking, you will not be charged, but it's important we know numbers. Whilst the Hipcamp website considers children as anyone under 13 years of age, we consider them as anyone under 18, and are happy for you to create the booking accordingly. Campfires are permitted in the designated area only, provided conditions are suitable and there are no local fire bans. Firewood can be provided. Whilst any time is good for camping, we recommend trying to time your trip with the New Moon and Full Moon - the skies here are brilliant at night! Marvel at the Milky Way from your hammock, or see the countryside lit up at night by the full moon. Well-behaved, trained, socialised and fully vaccinated pets are welcome too. Telstra and Optus work in most areas. We have free WIFI. We are located 19km from Mt Barker, surrounded by local wineries, including West Cape Howe, Poachers Ridge, Arcadia and Gilberts. The property makes a great base camp for day trips to Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Stirling Ranges and the Porongurup Ranges. Meanwhile back at the ranch: Barista coffee and tea are available by arrangement. Saturday nights BYO drinks happy hour from 6pm on the back patio. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the kids to Gelato and Fudge. We offer Cheese & Meat Platters daily as well as Pizza's for lunch on Saturday and Sundays.

You will be positioned overlooking our beautiful dam/lake from there is our gorgeous paddocks with cows, horses, and sheep. Your view extends to our beautiful Jarrah Forrest. You could fill your day with activities such as fishing for fresh marron or perhaps paddle on the lake in our paddle boat or kayaks. You could also go for walks around the property. It is also a lovely spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. There is no water or power provided. Please note we allow pets but the must be restrained as we do have working dogs on the farm - Happy for your dog/cat/budgie to enjoy our beautiful farm freely as long as they are happy with our four dogs. Steeped in natural wonders, Denmark is the golden city of Western Australia’s Rainbow Coast. Wild forests, burly coastal cliffs, and pristine beaches stretch along the shore, while inland, cool-climate vineyards climb up into the weathered mountains of the Great Southern Region. Outdoor adventures are easily found, whether cycling the Munda Biddi Trail, wine-tasting at cellar-door wineries, or taking in the views along the Mount Shadforth Scenic Drive. Camping is the obvious choice to get back to nature, so park your motorhome on a local farm or a tranquil riverside campground, check into a tourist park or caravan park, or pitch your tent by the beach.

Rainbow Coast

Rocky coves and rugged headlands give way to white-sand beaches and idyllic inlets along the Rainbow Coast. Nearby Albany is the gateway to the natural wonders of Torndirrup National Park, while West Cape Howe National Park has spectacular coastal hikes, paragliding, and beachside camping. Further west, enjoy swimming, snorkelling, and camping at William Bay National Park, where the star attractions include the Green Pool, Elephant Rocks, and Parry Beach.

Walpole Wilderness

Ancient karri forests, soaring granite peaks, and sprawling wetlands make up the vast Walpole Wilderness area, which stretches north and west of Denmark. Set out to explore the walking trails of Mt Lindesay National Park, go fishing and kayaking at Walpole-Nornalup National Park, or camp right by the beach at D’Entrecasteaux National Park. Hiking highlights include the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk and the long-distance Bibbulmun Track.

Stirling Ranges

Denmark sits at the foot of Western Australia’s mountainous southern region, affording plenty of options for mountain hikes and backcountry camping. Marvel at the giant boulders of Porongurup National Park on a scenic drive or bushwalk, or head further afield to hike and camp at Stirling Range National Park. The park’s seasonal campground has unpowered sites suitable for campervans and camper trailers, but there are also glamping cabins and caravan sites nearby.

The most popular time to visit Denmark is during the summer months, when the warm and dry weather is ideal for leisurely beach days and outdoor activities. The distinctive seasons and changeable weather along the Rainbow Coast make for some impressive views all year-round, especially during winter, when the low-lying sun and frequent rainfall combine to give the coast its name—rainbows can often be spotted throughout the day.
