The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rocklicffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. You can choose to book one of our newly levelled bays where you will be amongst the vines, or you can park your van or pitch your tent in the paddock opposite the cellar door during summer when it is dry. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the kids to Gelato and Fudge. We offer Cheese & Meat Platters daily as well as Pizza's for lunch on Saturday and Sundays. When booking one of the 6 sites you are selecting our newly levelled gravel bays where you will be amongst the vines. 5 sites run up the side of the vineyard with the last site at the rear of the main carpark, below the levelled bays. During the summer when it is dry you can park your van or pitch your tent in the paddock across from the cellar door which is our overflow camping area if the levelled bays are booked out. There are no facilities, so you will need to be self-contained with your own camp toilet and take all waste with you when you go.  The land is gently undulating, so you may require leveling with chocks.  The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the kids to Gelato and Fudge.

Pizza restaurant & bar a real perk
Great location just outside of Denmark. Picturesque spot in the vines or overlooking the water. Best bit is the pizza and wine tasting bar open till 730pm when we were there, also offers gelato and fudge. Great facility to have if you want a night off from cooking and a social space to relax and pretty late closing compared with other sites we stayed at. Other campers were considerate, even after a few. Family friendly
