The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. Please be advised that Davlyn Gardens is currently closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Our beautiful property is located only 5 minutes drive from Agnes Water beaches and shops. Set on 4 acres we are away from the hustle and bustle, come and enjoy the tranquility of Davlyn Gardens, listen to the abundant bird life, and watch the kangaroos feed on our lawn. If you’re a gardener you will love our many gardens. All rigs must be self contained off grid we cannot supply water as we live on acreage and water is precious, so fill up before you come to stay at our place. We have room for 3 sites overlooking our dam and gardens. Dump Point is in 1770 approximately 15 minutes away. No small children please as we have a dam, small dogs on lead only, no cats please because of our bird life. We may also be able to look after your small dog for the day if you plan a trip out to the reef or take the amphibious lark up to the lighthouse, both great days out. Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trailis an incorporated association aiming to facilitate a proposed development of the rail corridor from Taragoola (near Gladstone, Central Queensland), through the Boyne Valley, on to Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera and south through Gayndah.The corridor is an inland link between Gladstone and Gayndah, which has great potential to attract tourists in numbers. In time, our website will showcase all the attractions along the trail.

Agnes Water Base Camp is a dog-friendly retreat spread over 120 acres of beautiful bushland. The property offers a range of sites set within this scenic natural environment, with more sites continually being created as the regrowth is cleared. While the track around the property currently has some overhanging saplings, it's ideal for walking and exploring, unless you wish to risk scratching your vehicle. This area is a work in progress and is constantly improving. The highlight of the camp is the large, swimmable dam, perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. The property also boasts approximately 250 fruit trees and is home to Brahma chickens and roosters, adding to the rustic charm. There's a 3-kilometer walking trail for those who love to hike, and you'll find potable water and ample firewood available. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Sunsets at Agnes Water Base Camp are absolutely stunning, with panoramic views of the nearby mountain ranges. When night falls, the starry skies above are nothing short of magnificent, making it an ideal spot for witnessing astrological events reflected in the tranquil waters of the dam. This camp offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and rustic charm for your getaway.
