A day at the beach might not be where the nickname The Great Western Adventure came from, but that’s exactly what you’ll get at Sandy Beach Campground. Enjoy Foss Lake face to face, 24/7 on the best sandy shore around. Picnic in the sand and clean off the crumbs with a jump in the clear, crisp water. Whether you go for the sunrise, or the sunset, Sandy’s long stretch of beach has it all.

We pulled in late at night and knew we were on Foss Lake but it wasn't until we awoke this morning to the sun rising over the water --which our site was backed up to--did we truly get to take in the beauty of this campground! Great bathrooms with coin showers that are within walking distance...complete with fire pits, picnic tables, and guys, it's one excellent place to star gaze.
